My success with YouTube: 600$ a month - 20$ daily

This is really so long time since I posted a thread here! I used to share my experience in making money as long as I am making good steps forwards.
This time I waited for a long time, but the results are really astonishing!

YouTube is a great source of traffic guys!

My First Test:
I started making videos using Camtasia in December 2012 then uploaded them using very specific tags and keywords to target people who are seaching for a specific information. I then posted my affiliate link and told them to click through. Result = BIG ZERO!

My Second Test:
In January 2013, I decided to make several videos using Animoto and published them with hundreds of related tags and keywords. I got about 3 views daily to each video with a total result of 27 views daily. After 5 days I got a conversion!
WOOOO! My first 2$ using this method.

My Third Test:
In the same month, I started using the free service of making iFrames provided by Luke kling. I tried to tighten the niche of my videos so they become very accurate and related to what my viewers are searching for. With the same time and effort, I received 2 more conversions in just 2 days.

My Final Decision:
So I decided to play it big! I ran a Google Adwords for Videos campaign to trigger more views to my videos. It took time to get approval (about two days).With more than 30 videos previously created and hundreds of keywords I could scale my targeting more and more and finally got the most 5 successful keywords and 1 video working extremely well. This is the one I focused on.

Now as my channel gets near 15.000 views I am making steady income from it. There are about 10 conversions daily with a total of 600$ monthly.

I am doing more and more scaling right now to make even more money.

PRO TIP: The CC subtitles of YouTube videos make you look professional. I found that people like them so much!

Now after I achieved my desired goal of making steady income, I am ready to answer your questions & to help you achieving the same

    Currently, I do not pay anything. All my traffic comes organic.

    I just paid about 70$ in Adwords to get my videos ranked as they were already full keyword optimized. I already made more than 550% ROI till now

        well, I did not try this method at all. I know guys who are making money using it though.

      Only a very small fraction of money comes from monetizing my videos. The rest comes through CPA offers.

      When you upload a new video to TY, it gives you the ability to upload a time-coded text file (.txt) that contains all subtitles you want to insert inside your video.
      Usually it takes a few minutes to create a text file for a short video. When visitors play your video, the subtitles are shown to them by default.

      I am afraid I can't but I am planning to launch a website in which I will give away free promotional videos and articles of CPA offers with complete explanation on how to use them effectively.

      No, not at all. You can monetize traffic, by linking to offers and your websites.

      By using CPA offers, you do not have to become a YT partner.
      If you plan to make money by integrating Google Adsense in your videos then monetization would be important.

    1. How many videos do you have?
    2. By "getting your videos ranked", does it mean that all you needed was to stuff it with lots of nice keywords and blast it with traffic?
    3. What were the Iframes for?

      1. For a single offer, I usually make 10 or less videos.
      2. Not to rank in ALL keywords. Instead I upload my videos with hundreds of keywords then watch carefully to see what is working. I then pick these very successful keywords and focus on them to get the rankings.

      When I run my PPC campaign, I initially define very accurately what are the best keywords that are working for the offer so I do not need too many views to get the ranking.
      I got several hundreds of views from PPC + viral marketing spending $70.

      Combining recording + text & pics gives the best results. This is because you need to try what is working and what is not. In my experience, the more value you give to people the more they will be willing to give your offer a try.

    You want a tip? Drop Adwords and switch to Bing Ads - clicks are several times cheaper on there, so you will be making much more money without changing anything but your traffic source!

    Btw, I assume you get international traffic...is the offer available on all countries?

    If not, you can use a geo-redirection script to target visitors to specific offers that are available in their countries.

    I've made a free tool to generate that script very easy, no coding skills required AffKit.com > Geo redirection

    I've heard that views aren't as important as they used to be for ranking. How many views did most of your videos have when they started to rank on #1 page on Google?

    You said you use hundereds of keywords, but how do you decide on what keyword to use in the video title? Do you look for a minimum monthy search volume or any specific keyword type? i.e. do you tend to use keywords with "free" in them.

    I'm just getting into the blogging with affiliate marketing approach, and I was going to have a page dedicated to reviewing products that would then point to an affiliate link.
    Instead of just writing out a page of text, I think I'm going to make a video instead. That way I'll have people coming to my website through youtube- and people going to youtube through my website.

    I have a webcam and I'm comfortable with making a live video instead of using animoto. Do you think this would increase revenues? (Maybe if I get some good looking gal to do it from my uni, in a bathing suit haha)

    YouTube is such an untapped resource I really try to encourage people to use it. The good thing about YouTube is that the cream rises to the top, so if you make a truly quality video, you shouldn't have a problem getting views.
