How do you run ads on torrent sites?

Hey everyone,

Every time I go on a torrent site, there are a number of ads for gaming and similar kind of campaigns running. I have a few gaming campaigns I'd really like to scale up.

Does anyone know how to run ads on torrent sites? I'd really appreciate any tips from someone who has done it before. Thanks.

    Either buy direct - or from one of the right media type brokers.
    Possibly inventory is available on Appnexus/Sitescout.
    And I believe Exo are dealing with this now too.

      He explain it all, most torrent site run ads by broker.

    Just figure out what ad networks runs the ads on their site and sign up for it.

    Otherwise see if you can go directly.

    Torrent sites are probably the worst places to advertise though. 100% of their audience is there because they don't want to pay for something and a lot of them there are wise to CPA marketing or at least the email submit YOU'VE WON A $10000 DOLLARS!

      Sweet cheeks is sorta right... People are on torrent sites for free downloads so they are essentially freebie seekers. What you could do is hit them with a free iPhone / iPad offer that pays anywhere from $1.60-$2.20(if your network likes you).

      Otherwise their is only 1 way for you to find out if it works... Testing it!

    Just have to make sure that for the particular offer your promoting
    Torrent traffic is allowed.

    Don't want to push leads and find out you won't be paid for them.

    Go and download "Live HTTP Headers" Firefox Addon.

    Open it.

    Now when you click on an Advertisement on that torrent site it will
    show you all the redirect links in Live HTTP Headers.

    You more than likely will be able to spot the Traffic Network that is
    serving the ads.

    From there you visit that Traffic Network and purchase inventory and
    will be able to target the exact same placements of ads on the site.

    If there is no Middle Man Traffic Network, then you have to go Direct.

    Typically on the footer of the site there is a Contact or Advertising link.

    If not, you can email them by looking up the domain on WHOIS.

    From there Just inquire about Purchase Advertising.

    Great, thanks a lot.
    I know it's low quality traffic, however so is adult in that sense.
    They don't want to pay for something BUT they may want to sign up to get their end away on a dating site.
    I'm talking about running offers that facebook and co do not allow but that are not suitable for adult sites either.
    We've all been there.

    Most torrent sites such as magnetlinked.com sells ads direct but other torrent sites use exoclick ($200 minimum advertising :/)

    You can choose a pop-under ad network that pays well. Check "Propellerads", most of the popular torrent sites used their service.

    Be aware of Torrent Sites. Most of them are Illegal and have copyrighted files in their platforms. So don't go with advertising on torrent sites.

    I would definitely do some sort of pay per install, per lead offer on torrent traffic. Nothing that costs.

    Use the Ghostery Plugin available for Firefox and Chrome to find out what ad networks are being used to monetize the torrent site.
    Then, signup as an advertiser to those ad networks.

    I think Sitescout has inventtory on Torrent sites not sure though
