I've Been Doing CPA Since Jan 2013... This Is What I've Achieved..

So on the 9th of Jan 2013 I started CPA + PPC. I wanted to do it to make money and learn an entire of sector of internet marketing that I have never touched.

I have tried 4 different traffic networks -

Facebook Ads
7Search
Bing Ads
POF

Since the 9th of Jan I have made a net loss of $69.67 + Courses that I have bought... + $75 so... I have lost $144.67.

I have spent: $610.54 and made $540.87 back.

I think this is great as I have at least made some money back, but more importantly I have a really good understanding on how to set up campaigns on lots of different networks and how to set up tracking and landing pages. I'm not sure where I am going to go now in terms of CPA, I might move onto list building as I have never done that before.

You need to focus on 1 ad networks until you get things converting.

You are jumping around way too much. Just pick which network you've been having the most success with and keep hammering your best campaign until you explode it.

That is how you need to work as a newbie.

Instead of "trying to learn an entire of sector", learn 1 sector and crush it. It is a much more profitable approach.

I might move onto list building as I have never done that before.
If you aren't making money as is, you don't need to move onto list building.

    Stay focused.

You have a great attitude, and are close to success, just hone in and take that money you deserve.

      Thanks,
I might try and make 7search profitable, that is my aim I guess. I want 10 profitable campaigns there that make me a minimum of $25/day profit.

Hey first off congratulations, that loss is nothing and is a normal part of the biz.

Here are a few things I can advise you on.

You said you've spent roughly $600 on 4 different traffic sources.

That is only $150 each give or take.

In all honestly that is definitely not large enough of a test budget to
get significant data on your campaigns.

If I were you I would focus on one traffic source and try to master that.

You say you want to move into list building, but I would hold off on that
until you get some traction first with your paid traffic campaigns.

    Best of Luck to you!

It is good that you have made some money back, one recommendation I have is stick with one traffic source instead of jumping around. List building is not a bad idea either.
