VPS for Prosper202 & Landing Page

Hi guys,

I have several offers I want to promote with a landing page. I'm gonna run PPC so I'll go with Prosper202 for tracking.

I am about to buy a VPS for Prosper202. My questions are:

1. Can I put both the landing page and the tracking domain on the same VPS account?
2. Actually, should I put the landing page on the VPS at all? I've got some shared hosting from Hostgator already, would putting the landing page on the VPS improve performance?
3. Wiredtree seems to have one of the best VPS offers. Anyone know how they are?

    2. If you have a VPS for your tracking, why slow yourself down with shared hosting?
    3. I believe most people recommend beyond hosting with prosper202, i've never heard of wiredtree myself
  • I use a couple Wiredtree VPSs. Good stuff. They just "leveled up" a couple of them this week for free. I think they do this annually to loyal customers. I've been with them about 5+ years. Support is top notch.

    2. Yes, having your LP on the VPS will make it load faster!

    3. I'd recommend Beyond Hosting or Liquid Web. Just make you a get VPS with Solid State Drives on it.

  • i'm using Gigas cloud hosting made easy (non ref), good support and cheap
    you can select if you want your vps on madrid or miami
  • You could use the same VPS for both of the domain as long as the VPS can handle both site's traffic.

    I would prefer to put your Landing Page to the VPS as it will receive mass traffic and you should have a good server for that reason.

    • So how has it been going so far?

      I'm getting into all this advanced tracking stuff right now.. Choosing a VPS isn't easy especially if you dont really know what exactly to look for in a VPS.

  • I have been using Wiredtree for more than a year and I'm extremely satisfied with them. I have installed prosper202 on my wiredtree VPS and works very fast as well. Also I'm having all of my landing pages on the same VPS (I'm using PPV)
