Difficulty in passing 7search keyword variable in CPVlab

I am using CPV Lab to track my PPC campaigns. I am driving traffic from 7 search so have added the following to the CPVLAb campaign set up as follows:

URL append token &Keyword=###KEYWORD###
keyword token value as ###KEYWORD###
URL "http://trkur.com/trk?o=2598&p=89957"

So when I view the campaign stats or the visitor stats it does not show the keyword that was used.

What am I missing?
#ad networks (cpm/cpl, display) #7search #cpvlab #difficulty #keyword #passing #variable
  • How are you passing the tracking info from cpvlab to the network?

    • Here is the link CPV lab provides "http://domain.com/base.php?c=7&key=2b3a47c53959a0dbae59237b645400e2& Keyword=###KEYWORD###&%SUBID1%"

If I understand what you are asking.
  • Don't touch 7search with a 10 foot pole. Click fraud and generally low quality traffic. You get what you pay for.
  • Have you added AffID and RID as ad tokens in traffic source for 7 search? This is what I did wrong and caused the same problem. Those 2 tokens should be added as extra tokens in campaign setup.

    • I'm seeing a space in your URL. That will mess things up for sure. Go into CPV Networks tab and make sure that you don't have any extra spaces in your variables. Also, the "&%SIBID1%" isn't serving any purpose. Might as well get rid of that.

The question posed by the OP is about tracking on 7 Search. There are plenty of threads discussing traffic quality. Your post would be more relevant there.

Very good suggestion. To build a successful campaign on 7 Search, you'll want to track and optimize your traffic sources as well as your keywords.
