Have you already applied to some networks? The best would be to go to offervault.com and look up some offers in your niche. After you have been accepted, the best is to have a chat with your AM about hot offers.

Hi all, I am in the same situation, I have signed up with a few networks through overvault and also peerfly, but the sign up process is long and also have a long wait, It's been 3 days and only one reply from peerfly asking for more information.... Nothing yet from any networks via offervault. I have answered the 20 question sign up in full. I look for quicker process than this.

P.S. Maxbounty has a 502 Bad Gateway on the signup..

I have joined offervault but don't have an idea which are the best converting offers as per my niche. I want good offer where i can get paid by providing them just lead through banners. Do i need approval from networks also ? My sites have good traffic and ranking i just want to get paid by providing leads to affilate network but not sale. I find selling is tough then providing leads.

I would recommend to signup for 2 reputable networks, like maxbounty and peerfly. But you could also contact them prior to your application to see if the 'hot' offers suit your needs

When you join a CPA network you can sort offers by average EPC, and other metrics that can give you insights to what offers are doing the best.

And you can always ask your affiliate manager.

Talking to your AM is the first thing you should after applying to some networks. Regarding networks, I'd suggest to check PeerFly, Epom Market and Maxbounty.

I would look at the demographics of the visitors to my site first before picking an offer.

You wouldn't want to put up an US offer when most of your traffic comes from other countries.

I am not 100% sure that affiliate manager will tell you which offers are converting. Aff. managers have split allegiance, between Affiliates and Advertisers. Money comes from Advertisers, so their interests are served first. For example, aff. manager brought in a new Advertiser and needs to impress him with some sales. So what is aff. manager going to do, he is going to push that new offer to Affiliates, regardless if that offer is converting or not. And that can be very much at expense of Affiliates.

As well, you must take into the account that we, Affiliates, are thousand for a dime. Normally every single aff. manager has 10-20,000 affiliates allocated to him. Most of these affiliates, like 99%, will be dormant, bringing no income. So loosing a few affilaites, will do a little harm to the agency, while loosing a single Advertiser will loose agency a tons of cash.

Some agencies, like CommissionJunction and NeverBlue offer a little graph called Network Earning, in a form of horizontal bar. That bar graph tells you what percentage of Agency's earnings comes from a particular offers. If a green bar is very far to the right, that means an above average amount of agency's earnings comes from that offer. And completely opposite if green bar is completely to the left.

As already mentioned by one gentleman. Do not just blindly trust your AM. They have their own interest. I would rather sort offers according to demographics and EPCs and see if they are fit for my audience or not

    Hi to All of You:

I am looking to get started; first a little about me.
I came to the W Forum because of the valuable info available and even much more so in this segment.

I am 65 years, not retired yet, (can't afford to do so), but I do have some time to work on the PC to develop an IM program.

I am a newbie to any marketing although I am familiar with much of the language of IM and also familiar with what Affiliat Marketing and CPA etc are about.

I have bought a few affiliate marketing and CPA etc courses and to be frank, I find both models interesting. But I was told that online CPA is probably the route that I need to take as it might provide the better path, provide a better avenue for small profits and growth. However, I will not be able to do offline CPA marketing as I don't have much time for outside marketing.

I don't mind working to develop a program. So, I can listen to your suggestions and will not be looking for overnight success. I can invest a few hundred into a program if necessary, but I am not sure can afford to get off into courses. A need to consider that I should to retire within the next three years or so is ever before me. Unless I can make something work in IM, my income will be soley from Soc Sec.

    A few Questions please?

    1. I have heard a few say I should, but should I first have an established generic blog or website before applying to networks?

    2. Should I also have in mind what type of offers I would like to promote before applying to networks?

    3. Is there any particular method or path that any of you would suggest I consider following?

    4. Any more suggestions?

I do appreciate your contributions to my rather late but upcoming successful IM/CPA career.

    Thanks to all.

      1. I have heard a few say I should, but should I first have an established generic blog or website before applying to networks?

No, it is not necessary. My suggestion is though, if you are not versed enough with the language of paid traffic, the phone call with the network will assume you do not have experience.

A generic blog HELPS, but even with a generic blog, you need to indicate that you have the knowledge and experience to drive traffic.

      2. Should I also have in mind what type of offers I would like to promote before applying to networks?

Yes, It would be a good idea to have an idea of what you would like to promote. The interviewer will most likely ask what you are most comfortable promoting, if you stumble and or don't have a detailed answer to such a question it will indicate lack of experience.

Most networks don't want to TEACH affiliates, they want to gather affiliates who already know what they're doing. They're in the business of "revenue spread" not teaching.

      3. Is there any particular method or path that any of you would suggest I consider following?

      Identify your proposed niche.
Research your niche and your audiences.
Identify how much you can spend to test data.
Identify the traffic source you'd like to test your demographic hypothesis.
      Apply to the network.
Begin the hard work of optimization.

      4. Any more suggestions?

      There's always more suggestions

I do appreciate your contributions to my rather late but upcoming successful IM/CPA career.

    Hi SmartzRank,

Sorry, my last post is half hi-jacking your thread.

It looks like you're going into the CPA world at full steam! Don't let that momentum be stopped by making unrealistic decisions.

There is no "such" thing as the best CPA offers. There is only such thing as the best CPA offers for your Target Market.. or in this case, the best CPA offers that work with your few websites in Niche health business finance, travel..

You'll have to split test offers in order to find out what works best for you. You also don't want to blindly promote offers because that will turn your current readers away! Think about yourself as being a reader on your own blog, you'll want to see the most relevant ad, because a truly relevant ad enriches the reader's experience on your website!

    Good Luck!

When you are going to join a CPA network you must take a look on CPM rates. I suggest you to compare CPM rates of few CPA networks. It will give you a better idea. Then join the CPA network which is offering highest CPM rate

Anything in finance works best for me.

I would say insurance, debt and loan applications are your most profitable markets in CPA as they are all CPL instead of per sale. But best converting offers is HIGHLY subjective and depends on your own marketing techniques ... but generally anything that pays per lead naturally has a much higher conversion rate than sales based offers, as a conversion is much easier to get.

    Hope that helps.

Sounds good in theory but where do you advertise these CPL offers to make profitable conversions? For example, I have a Car Insurance CPL ($3) that I am wanting to promote. I figure PPV would work, but a lot require at least a minimum $500 deposit.

Bad Boy Nick gave some good advice...

I will add the dating offers and education related cpa offers...especially if they only require an email address or zip code.

Be sure to check the average EPC and CR on any offer you think about promoting.

Be careful with zip submits too. I've tried a handful and every one of them either shaved, scrubbed, or dropped the conversion pixel on a percentage of the submits as opposed to every one of them.

You Skipped the Binary Option Affiliate Program list. Reason why i like Binary over all other - it pays more. In other affiliate program like dating or others (may be with very few exceptions) - you get 20- 30 dollars CPA. I will rather spend the same advertisement budget and my energy to make 200 dollar plus commission with Binary option affiliate program. Private binary network and Clicksure are undisputed leaders in binary option affiliate program. I am using both and making excellent money. Also JVZOO is a GREAT place to make money and its instant payment via paypal.

For sure the best way to get info on offers in through your Affiliate Manager. Build a relationship, run some traffic and they will share what they can.

Also, some competitive intelligence tools like Adbeat and Similarweb can be very useful in seeing how much traffic a website gets, which will give you some insight as to how well that offer is performing.

Pick a traffic source and master it. Pick a niche and master it. Don't go for shiny objects...

I favor leads, all a user has to do is fill out a form(nothing to buy/no credit card required)...so you often will see higher conversion rates. I also favor leads that have a make, get or save money angle to them, as they tend to have mass appeal to the general public...high volume of potential prospects.

In addition to asking your AM, a lot of networks have weekly(some daily) reports on what offers are performing the best, but you may need to ask to receive. One other thing, many networks have private offers, which they often only offer to more experienced affiliates, which it can't hurt to ask about.

Once you have an offer and your producing, ask for an increase in pay out. They can always pay more than the price that they initially offer. Once you can produce and they know it, most of the time you can ask for an increase before you even promote an offer.
