        He may not be making 5k a day every single day.

        But doesn't detract from the skill level need to hit 5k a day.

        Though stability is a skill in itself. Maybe coaching provides them more stability.

        Some people like to coach plus it's good to have a back up steady income coaching, I think it's a good think the CPA experts are coaching but that's me.

    $5000 per month is definitely do able. But it depends on what budget you are going to use. If you have small budget then don't aim for that figure right from start. Try to increase your profits gradually.

    you have to be selling 106 people per month... or per day... and getting a $47 commission.

    SOUNDS EASY Right?

    Now the average commission rate for most vendors is 3%. Some pay more, some pay
    less, but overall 3% is a safe number (those that pay more tend to have lower conversion
    rates…so it all balances out).

    So let’s do the math…what we get, is that in order to make $5,000/mo, you’ll need to
    sell $166,666 worth of sales.

    This means that every 3 months you’ll need to send 1/2 million worth of business to the
    vendor. That’s a LOT... and you make $15k

    And let’s not forget that in this case (PPC).

    I don't know... but I can flip 1 website making avg $1k/m for $15k

            Obviously it's not the right kind of traffic. Focus on the keywords that are converting for you and supplement in paid traffic. If you are unsure of what's working set up PPC (or PPV) campaigns and find the profitable keywords then go from there. High traffic doesn't equal big money. In fact, you can make a lot of money off of a little traffic or a little off of a lot (as you have proven).

    $5K a day is definitely possible, but to learn how to do it, you will need to spend time and start the CPA business model. You may struggle to convert any offers in the first place, but testing, testing and testing and a day will come when you will be in profit and reach $5K a day..

    $5k a month is definitely possible. In fact, one of my student just hit $100 profit a day just after 1 month of doing CPA!

    One important thing about CPA is not to worry too much about losing money. If you have done proper research and due diligence in testing, You will be bound to see results soon. So just work at it and don't give up!

        Hey Greedy I was reading the thread here and really appreciate your input to it.

        I'm sure this has been asked a bagillion times but, would you recommend a learning source for someone new to CPA? It's obviously somewhat tough nowadays with so many WSO's and other paid-for-programs / coaching to really tell whats true and real and what's not for a noob.

        I apologize if this is the wrong place to ask but it seemed like a good place, since i'm sure someone else who looks here is gonna be wondering the same!

I've been told to stick and work with one method before moving onto another so I may try the Squidoo thing for another week or two and than possible look into CPA.

          I'm working with Erica's method, from Squid Pro Quo? I'm sure you have heard of it, she is a really nice lady and gives some great support when it comes to questions. Essentially i'm using Amazon Affiliates in combined effort with her Keyword research methods for good long tail keywords. I just started and i'm gonna pump as many high quality lenses I can within the next month or so to see how things go. But CPA/CPV/CPL etc has always interested me so that may be the next horizon if I can become somewhat successful with this Squidoo stuff.

              Just started about three days ago. I didnt have a lot of time to work on my research and first lens. I got my first lens published yesterday and im working on my second today. Hopefully by the end of the weekend I have 3-4 up.

    There are tons of ways to do it. You may want to incorporate many ways once you've tested methods and see it's work.

    You make money with CPA by:

    -becoming a guest blogger
    -buying banner ads
    -buying solo ads/sponsored emails
    *there are tons of sites that serve as a middle man, but try contacting site admin directly and cutting a deal
    -JVs with folks that have highly targeted traffic
    -Postcards/flyers locally with CPA offer
    -PPV (those pop unders when you your own websites you didn't know opened up)
    -PPC or pay per click
    -Webinars with a targeted audience

    The key is converting offers in combination with your targeted responsive traffic. This traffic is all over. Open your eyes and take action. Again it's not going to be easy, but it is possible!

      $5,000 a month is fun, but if it only last 1 month, it nothing be a good month.

    The only thing that sucks about solo ads, (someone mentioned it above), is if you're buying leads through coreg and not putting them into your funnel from the offer wall, then some email programs will reject your whole nice new list!

    But it's require hard work and time.

    Follow those steps:
    1) Find a method and stick with it.
    2) Read information about this method
    3) Try and fail.. finally you will do it.

        The best way is to base your lander closely on your offer.

        There isn't one style of landing that works best. Ever niche, every traffic source, and every offer has to catered to differently.

        Sometimes I use text only, sometime I use more image based LPs.

          I dont want to charge my lander...

          I tried a CB style lander that had 500 word copy.

          Then I removed the text and replaced it with a video!

          Still not so good.

          FB is my source... I was promoting that toa of bad ass shit.

          Any ways... I'm done with CB.... people don't seem to want to buy CB shit from FB... so I will focus on datings and other lame stuff people on FB might want to do.

    yes $5k per month is very doable in CPA marketing. Even easier if you have cash to invest. So spending $2k and making $8k is pretty easy once you know how to track and expand. So that would be $6k net.

        Thanks for that, I've seen a couple now.
        It looks like there are 2 things people do, one seems to be having a bing advert linking to a landing page selling something. I guess the key with this is just find something that brings in more profit than the advert costs.

        There look to be some bing ads that when you go on the page they are offering a free ebook if you put your e-mail and name in. Is the purpose of these to get your e-mail address for a list and then once you have put those details in, you get your free ebook and then get forwarded to some sort of CPA?

        Am I on the right lines here

        Hi all,

        Newbie here as well. Just started read up on affiliate marketing.

        Here are the steps i'm have took so far. currently

        1) Signed up as a member on Greed Report.
        2) Read through most of the Guides on Greed Report.
        3) Started learning HTML and CSS on CourseTutu. (i should have completed the lessons by end March)
        4) i don't plan to start actually buying ads until i've completed the course on HTML & CSS


        My questions are:
        1) What other resources can i read up on in the meantime?
        2) Are most CPA offers targeted at the US Demographic? Does it matter if i'm not based in the US?
        3) For those making >USD$1000/m, how much time do you put into this in order to make that amount?
        4) I have a starting budget of US$3000. (how should i be assigning that budget?
        5) Should i hire a coach to guide me through the starting process? How much would that cost?

        PS: i currently have a corporate job, so i'm only looking at doing this just for an additional stream of income. My target for the short term is breakeven, US$500 in 6 months, and USD$1000/month after a year. .

    No single person will teach you internet marketing for real, I found that out the hard way. Most people will only teach you an overview of what they know, never the intricacies and details.

    But there is a key to getting past all though. Listen to multiple people and learn to separate the fluff from the nuggets. When you listen to multiple people, they'll each reveal little nuggets that you can piece together on your own to develop your unique winning formula. Eventually if you're patient and intuitive you'll piece it all together. It's like a puzzle.

    You need to be smart and literally make your own way by testing. Another thing is never start off big just, test the waters bit by bit. Find out what works for you first and pour all your resources into that. Rinse and repeat....

    Yes, but it depends on the effectiveness of your work and mostly the price of the product you're promoting should be 25$ on average per sale (including upsells).

    Start with PPC ads on Bing and Google and see if you can work something out in YouTube.

      The only way to keep a consistent stream of income from CPA offers is to have a list around the niche which has trust in you.

      Building such lists from paid and free traffic should eventually allow you to break the $50 day barrier after a couple of weeks.

      Well it is definitely not easy, but if you are determined to do it you can literally become a billionaire. I guess the markets you picked are very tight or you couldn't find someone to show you how to boost your business fast. I know people that are making $500+ a day after 8 months and the main difference is that they had someone to show them how to start.

    That is what I do not like about CPA. In Amazon sometimes products are removed but Amazon takes care of what happens to the customer once they reach the page. They will redirect the customer to something else. With CPA, noooooooo! Just nothing here anymore. What a waste. We have to keep changing offers.

      Just quick tips to all that might be starting out in CPA.

      1) Capture your leads before sending them to the actual offer page. I always repeat this since this is very important.

      2) Make sure that you are starting out with easy offers and by that I mean zip submits and such - mainly one page one field. The payout will not be as high but it is a good starting point.

      3) Wouldn't recommend downloads of any kind since they install adware on the person's computer and makes it very annoying to remove them. This could cause trouble down the line.

      4) Shoot bullets then cannonballs as Jim Collins wrote in his book Great By Choice. Meaning test first then scale. Don't dump a huge amount on advertising. Test it out and then go all in when one or more work.

      5) Finally make sure that if you are using organic traffic it is GEO targeted so that you are not losing out on potential leads. Meaning if your offer is only for US visitors and you get traffic from Russia and UK as well then those people won't be able to complete the offer but if you have 3 similar offers and you can GEO target them to all of those offers based on their countries then you will triple your results right there and then.

    i love threads like this really gives some confidence, and lights a fire under my butt as i am just now starting to get into the CPA field after getting some experience with websites etc first.

    Question: Has anyone ever really documented a start to finish or Newbie to Less Newbie experience? throughout the thread there were so many people asking "HOW" that i think it would be amazing if there was a source where someone could share their experiences?

    Heck - maybe if it doesnt exist i will just go ahead and document my experiences - worst case scenario, i can use the documentation as a "trading book" so to speak to learn from my mistakes along the way.

    Of course there are super affiliates earning that in a matter of hours. It is very possible to earn $5000 per month with CPA marketing. You just have to find the right niche and master it!
