Hold on man ! It's a big news from the center that Yahoo bought Tumblr in $1.1billion.
I would say at last the old monk did something sparky to survive. Probably it would take a year to get the investment back to their piggy bank through their giant ad network (That's exactly what they gonna do - SECRET

).
What do you think about this deal is that good enough or not !!! Share you views.

I think this was announced last week? I also heard that tumblr has a lot of adult traffic but not sure of that. It does have a ton of traffic though and traffic is what yahoo was after.

Yes, I believe they are keep the adult images. Yahoo promised "not to screw this up."

I find this very interesting and I think it has some good and bad, for me specifically. I have currently been using tumblr as a testing ground for different niches and types of images people love to share. I have been using adsense for the blogs just to get a handle on what types of images draw in people who will click an obvious ad. Finding some unexpected results in a few areas.

But.... I am wondering what yahoo has in plan for people who currently have adsense on their tumblr blogs (I've been doing it for a year without a hitch).
