Adding and Updating Sub ID's in Prosper

I was watching Luke Peerfly's video on setting up a campaign with P202 and for some reason can't seem to get my affiliate link to work once I put the subid, c1, and c2 variables in it. My final link looks like this:

http://trkur.com/trk?o=6555&p=-----&s1=[[subid]]&s2=[[c1]]&s3=[[c2]]

This is how it appeared in luke's video, but I can only get it to work if I remove the brackets from the variables like this:

http://trkur.com/trk?o=6555&p=----&s1=subid&s2=c1&s3=c2

I'm not sure if I use the latter link if my variables will pass through to Prosper. I've gotten one conversion so far using the bottom link, but when I go to reports on Peerfly and get the excel file no subid shows up for the conversion. It only gives me raw/unique clicks, ctr, etc.

I realize this is really technical and boring but it's really tripping me up because without proper tracking I'm not really going to accomplish anything. Any advice would be helpful!

    Its because you are passing only one variable if yoy pass more than one variable than we will use c2,c3 , if using one you will only use c1 ...

      I am passing {age:} and {state:} through the c1 and c2 variables. My main problem is, I think the top link is the proper way to do it but for whatever reason I get a 403 error when visiting it.

    Your first link is right. The video needs updated. We changed how our SubIDs are structure (s1 now compared to subid1).

    You can add &s1=[/url][[subid]]&s2=[[c1]]&s3=[[c2]] to the end of your link and it'll work fine.

      Yeah, I tried the first link(the one at the top) first because that's how I thought it was supposed to be set up. Unfortunately, I get an error when I try to visit that link and my AM Lauren told me to just leave out the brackets. Not sure what's up but I'm definitely not getting any subid's or conversions pinged to my P202 when they happen

          It's a 403 forbidden error. When I get rid of the [[ ]] around subid, c1, and c2 the link works fine but of course tracking doesn't report appropriately then. When I edited the link to include the brackets I get the error upon clicking the redirect.php on my LP that takes me to the offer page. I could be missing something really basic here but it's just not making sense right now.

        That was a mistake by Lauren. You need the brackets when you put your affiliate link in the box on Prosper202. Prosper202 will change those placeholders (ex: [[subid]]) with the variable from Prosper202 and your link will work fine.

          Yeah, I've tested this and it works perfectly as long as I don't set my c1 and c2 variables to PoF tokens i.e. {age:} and {state:} . I think there is a problem somewhere with Peerfly as soon as it sees the {} for those variables(as any other c1 and c2 variables work). I think someone has had this similar problem and posted on the PeerFly forums:

    Here's info from their FAQ:
    Q. When I cloak, it keeps getting redirected to a 403 Forbidden error?
    A. That is a hosting problem generally associated with a few select webhosts, mainly HostGator. Make sure you have mod_security turned off, if you do not know have to turn it off, you will have to contact your webhost. Please also note that Godaddy, Network Solutions, and webhosts that do not support phpMyAdmin do not work with Prosper202 by default. If you get a Forbidden 405 error, you're most likely on a Windows server which currently Prosper202 coding is not fully optimized for Windows installation. Our recommended hosting is here: Prosper202 Hosting

      Cloaking is turned off and I'm running prosper on a Beyond VPS ;/ When I get rid of the brackets around my subid, c1, and c2 variables it works. Any idea why this would be the case? I am also split testing with the LP rotation script found on the prosper website if that makes a difference. But the LP's are rotating nicely so I doubt it.

    I think I may have found the problem. Apparently Peerfly has a problem with the {} in the c1 and c2 variables. From what I've found I can replace the c1 and c2 variables with:

    str_replace({age:},NoAge, $s2) - (my s2=[[c1]] in my affiliate link and is my)

    and

    str_replace({state:},NoAge, $s3) - (my s3=[[c2]])

    Can't believe how complicated this is, but can anyone confirm this is how I pass variables to my LP with Peerfly?
