Kindle- Great ranking, ending free offer after 2nd day?

Hi,

I released my first Kindle book (erotica) a day ago and by today, less than 36h after releasing it, I already have more than 1,000 free downloads and my book is on #4 of free Kindle books (not in a specific category, category rankings it doesn't show, I don't know why... so #4 in overall free Kindle books of any category).

I was planning to offer it 5 days for free (KDP Select), but since I already have such a great result I was thinking to end the free offer after today, which is the second day.
I'm not publishing in the English-speaking market btw.

What wozld you do? Thanks!

    I think those are some good download numbers. Check out your reviews and if you are getting good reviews then you should end the free promotion. The book should now able to survive and get downloads on its own.

        What you can do is pause your free promotion and see if you get downloads. You can use the remaining days later.
