Hello Warriors,

I read the forum rules carefully..

In this thread I want to show you how I made profits of $650.97 in the last 2 days...

I got tons of PM's from Warriors, it's was amazing to see your support and interesting in CPA via Mobile.
here is a quote of one of the warriors members:

Here is screenshot of my CPA network summary:

  • Cheap CPC
  • High EPC
  • Easy to set-up campaigns
  • Very fast traffic
  • Scaleable
  • Very fast traffic
  • etc

How it's works?
Traffic => CPA Offer
Simple as that!
(Direct Linking)

How much budget i need??
I started with $50.
When I started to see my campaign made profitable I just scale it up and.... BOOM!!

  1. Pick an offer - I recommend for CPL/CPS - $0.7 - $2.5
  2. Create a good looking banner - you can outsource it via Fiverr for $5 - Fiverr: Graphics, marketing, fun, and more online services for $5
  3. Drive mobile traffic - BuzzCity
  4. Track conversion - Use SubID
  5. Split test
  6. SCALE IT UP!

  • This is a great thread! Please keep it up.
  • how long does it normally take for buzzcity to approve my topup and campaign? I have topup-ed few hours ago but it is still pending, no balance shown in my account. Same to the campaign, still pending.
Did you tried on CPI/CPS and is it profitable? Because there are actually not many CPL offers in mobpartner...only 6 of them in fact
    • [1] reply
    • CPS convert the best...
There tons of CPS offers in MobPartner..

It's will take upto 24 hours until they approve your campaign and payment.

      Cheers, David

  • Thanks for the share!

How much is the average CPC you are getting?
    • [1] reply
    • I'm newbie in mobile cpa. May I know, does creating banner as said in Step 2 is necessary? Does it make any difference? If so, David can you tell me which gig on fiverr that you buy?
      • [1] reply
  • I think your thread was deleted because it's just basically showing your stats. It's not informative at all. Nothing against you, and it's great you're having success, but anyone could in fact write a similar thread saying: find an offer at Neverblue (or any other CPA network), create an Adwords campaign, scale it.
It does not give any tip for people who would like to get started (banner examples, how to tweak the settings in Buzzcity crappy interface, kind of targeting - devices, day parting, did you try to scale using other ad networks like mmedia, did you try other mobile aff network...).

    Basicually useless as is.
  • - What CPC did you use?
    - Were you using only 1 type of image per campaign? Or did you use multiple different creatives to reduce ad decay?
    - How many offers were you promoting during your case study?
  • it's that easy huh
  • I am confused what will be my Target URL for each campaign
let's say the Target URL below is available for 4 countries.
    Code:
    http://d.mobpartner.mobi/?s=xxxxxx&a=xxxx

But let's say I want to promote this campaign in Australia, should I use the Target URL from Australia Banner(below) or the shorter URL(above)?
    Code:
    http://d.mobpartner.mobi/?s=xxxxxx&a=xxxx
    • [1] reply
    • I get CPC around $0.01 to $0.05, in this case $0.03 ..

      Thank you for your opinion,
but I saw tons of thread here that shows their stats without any information, I don't think my thread is useless, as you see a lot of people in the forum started to take action.

      Anyway, wish you the best,
      David

You don't have to create banner, the CPA network provide you also banners, but if you want to get more chances to success you have to create your own banners, the reason for it that the most of the CPA marketers use the same banner from the CPA network.
      Here's a tip for you:

      - Run a campaign with MobPartner banner.
      - If you get traffic and conversions the offer is good(for example - 5 conversions - $5 and you spend $4), which means you can keep split.
      - If not, and you think the offer is good, you should create your own banner.

I personally create banners with Photoshop, i'm not outsource it.

During this case study I promoted only 1 offer and 2 campaigns.
I'm using 1 type of image per campaign.

      Hi IhaveAdream,
It's really awesome to see that you are action taker !
Anyway, I use the target URL from the banners area.

      Cheers,
      David

  • My first campaign (Stopped)
    Clicks: 819
CTR: 14.98% (Is it normally this high??)
    Conversion: 2 (Game App Download)
    • [1] reply
    • That's very high CTR, I normally reach upto 7% or less mostly.
  • Sadly they are not converting too, I stopped the campaign but I am still receiving clicks.
    Are you using BuzzCity too?

P.S. Now I check the statistics again, the CTR down from 14.98% to 2.33% all of sudden. Nearly 1k clicks and 2 conversions for app install. Guess I will wait for the click log.
    • [1] reply
    • just wondering how much oyu had to pay for the 860 clicks?

and did the 2 sales cover the cost?
  • Thanks, money is blowing out fast. I have stopped 2 of my campaigns because it is not converting well. I have started another 2 campaigns, can you enlighten me regarding these options below during setup our BuzzCity campaign? Do you check or uncheck them?
    - Features: WCDMA (UMTS, 3G)/Music Player (incl. MP3, ACC, WMA)/XHTML Browser/Bluetooth
    - Others: Exclude Proxied-browser Traffic(Exclude Opera Mini Traffic, Exclude UC Browser Traffic, Exclude Ovi (S40), Browser Traffic)/Only Opera Mini Traffic

    • Hi david,

I too have this same doubts!!, can you guide us on this below questions?

      basha

  • Can you give me some of the banners that work great for you? I am quite new to CPA + Mobile, and I want to learn a lot from you
  • Which countries do you target? I read somewhere that buzzcity works great for Asia.

When you create a new campaign in buzzcity it's asking you for images.
    - If you upload 3 images will it automatically rotate it, or you have to create new campaign for different images?

Also do you think that if you direct the customers to a nice landing page, this will increase CR?
  • That's cool. I'm glad you got this up and running once more, David!

    Best of luck!
    • [1] reply
    • Whats your average CTR% David?
  • haha, I see you liked my compliment...how about rewarding me with that skype convo I pm'ed you about?...lol I know you ignore it because you think im simply going to ask for your campaigns but thats not it at all...just good to network with other Warriors in general...plus 2 heads are always better than one...hit me up and thanks again
  • I have not much success too so far with CPI, now I am trying CPS/CPL
May I know what are "-NO third party network buys"? Some offer have such restriction, do it mean we can't buy traffic from BuzzCity?
  • Hmmm...OP, since you said you started mobile cpa 6 months ago, how much did you actually spent before making profit? Things is not going well for me lol, not sure if I am able to afford the further investment...
Not sure what is wrong, picked wrong offer? BuzzCity traffic not converting? Targeting wrong channel? Oh, that is just too much things to test, be prepared for a lot of topup if you guys are just starting =P
    • [1] reply
    • It's depends on the offer you want to promote...
      Check the Restrictions area.

In this case I target to USA...
BuzzCity is control Asia ads served.
I upload image and BuzzCity rotate the image automatically, i'm not create few campaigns.

I'm not using landing pages, so I don't know if it's will increase the CR.

      Thank you for your support

I'm really have no time for Skype group, I can't coach you, I just can give you tips and tricks..

I spent around $1000 before profit, but with this money I learned how to promote CPA with Mobile, I have few students, they all start with $50 and they in profit today..

Thank you for your serious comment.
In this case I promote CPS offer in 2 campaigns.
I will share with you one of my banners soon, I promise

      Cheers,
      David

  • Oh wow! Your students start with $50 and made profit, there must be gems in the lessons you gave
What is the average conversion rate for you or your students if you don't mind to share? Conversion rate is by far the biggest problem for me as I can't seems to get them above 0.01%...
    • [1] reply
    • You can't start promote CPA offers with Mobile and expect to get high CR in the beginning, you have to split test..
  • Thanks OP for this thread, and to those of you asking for his banners, be realistic, he has already provided fiverr guy in top page that can do for you $5.00. If he gives you all his details and everyone promotes same offers this won't work, use the tools, notes and suggestions in this thread and take action, that is what I am going to do.

Thanks again Op for your share and the tips to get started.
    • [ 1 ] Thanks
  • - Are you testing different channels in order to get better ROI%?

    - How to contact the campaign manager as it's not listed anywhere?
  • Man I just tried a regular campaign with cpv for a cpa campaign but not really much results... I think I may just give this one a chance, I'll let you know the outcome... Thanks for sharing!

    • No, you don't need a website, domain or hosting...
This is why I love mobile marketing, you get great results without complicated things ...

  • One more question if I may, which category have you been used in your campaign, in CPS/CPS model business I see only adult apps
  • Hello, David and thank you for your for this. I want to try this when I save some money. My question is bcs I didn't get it right. Sorry I'm a new at this stuff. At buzzcity how do I register as publisher or advertiser...and the same question for mob partner...as advertiser or publisher or media buyer? I mean where do I choose offer, and where do I promote it? Thank you very much and sorry for taking your time. All the best
    • [1] reply
    • MobPartner - Media Buyer - If you buy traffic on other adnetworks to bring users to our CPA campaigns

      BuzzCity - Advertiser

      • [ 1 ] Thanks
      • [3] replies
  • Thanks OP, David could you please be more detailed as I don't understand how to do things? like signing up as which account? Publishers or Advertisers? and also be more specific about every step from start to operational. I have read this thread many times but facing problems like wapsite? as I don't have any wapsite right now and what are these 2 (BuzzCity & MobPartner) supposed to do? I mean how am I going to get the traffic? and how would it convert? Explain the BuzzCity and MobPartner Please ! ..

In short, please start explanation from scratch. Because I don't get it.
    • [ 1 ] Thanks
    • [1] reply
    • Yap, that was my question
      • [1] reply
  • Sign up at MobPartner as publisher. You make money from publishing their offers.
Sign up at BuzzCity as advertiser. You need traffic to publish the offers, you buy traffic here.
    • [1] reply

    • IhaveAdream already answered your question.

MobPartner - sign up as a publisher
      MobPartner is the CPA network
BuzzCity - sign up as a advertiser
BuzzCity is the Advertising network(where the traffic comes from)

      What is the problem?
      • [ 1 ] Thanks
  • David, what you think about CPI offer (per App install), did you test it?
    • [1] reply
    • Yes, of course I test it.
CPI is the most promoted offers in the Mobile CPA Networks[/U] is CPI type.
Actually I run now a campaign of CPI and I get great results
If you want I can share the results
      • [ 1 ] Thanks
      • [1] reply
  • Do we upload all size banners,
you said upload 1 full size banner and buzzcity will use that for all.

what did you mean? please tell us

    • Hi David,
I searched from Mobpartner cmapaign, there was only one offer tha payout $2.44 (Club M8 Chat) and the rest offers $5.60 - $8.4 (Viva Mobile and Motime) see the pic below:-

How you find your CPS offers ?.
      Cheers,
      • [1] reply
  • MobPartner is forcing me to create a service. I don't have an app or mobile site so I out SMS, email or ?
    • [1] reply
    • Service will be the statement of your traffic source, so you will get paid only by driving traffic using that service. CPA network do not pay when your traffic comes from unknown sources.

If you plan to use BuzzCity as your ad network, then create a service by selecting BuzzCity. Those listed under "Service" are all ad networks, you can pick anyone you like based on your research. "Redirection Type" will be meta refresh and "Do you have incentivized traffic?" as No.
      • [ 1 ] Thanks

  • Thanks for the share and special thanks for answering to so many questions
  • Hello,
I started with MobPartner and BuzzCity. But conversion is 0% .... Can I am doing something wrong?

    Greetings and thanks.
    • [1] reply
    • They have disapproved my site. I am guessing it's because it appears to be "under construction". I would be adding content to my site AFTER they give me some iPhone/iPad Apps/Games to advertise, that's the only reason it appears under construction. Should I explain this to them?

edit: ...or maybe I've completely missed the point of MobPartner?

Site is set up on a .com domain, I've put a good amount of effort into the design of the page, and I've pulled up the site on a mobile device and it looks fine.

Just trying to figure out why this isn't getting approved
      • [1] reply
  • Hi David! You motivated me to start with CPA mobile offers. So, about 2 weeks ago I put $100 on buzzcity and created an account in Mobpartner. I found about 10 campaigns CPI that I think they were good to start.. I was going to start and then when I saw your thread was gone i didn't start. Now i have that money in my buzzcity account and I want to start now. In a PM that I sended to you when i watched the first thread, i told you that I was saving the money to pay for a trip.. so I don't need so much money with this method, only to pay for it.

I'm watching that most of people promote their campaigns with CPM, but i think CPC is better. What do you use? And about the campaigns, i'm testing CPI at the moment.. i'm afraid that the CPS will not convert, but you are having good results.. so maybe i gonna test it!

Well, thanks for all David! You are an inspiration for me!
If you can send to me an example banner it would be great!
  • Really most people promote their campaigns with CPM? What is the minimum bid for 1000 impressions using BuzzCity? I have read the report at mobithinking that ratio for CPC:CPM is 95:5 in BuzzCity. I thought not many people using CPM, anyone with more knowledge with BuzzCity CPM please share.

Also, anyone having high CTR in BuzzCity during every campaign launch? All of my campaigns are getting more than 100% CTR for the first few hours of the launch (Often 200%-300%, blew $0.20-$0.50 for every campaigns at the starting) and back to normal CTR few hours later. It happens to every of my campaigns launch targeting different countries, carriers, devices etc, is it normal or I should inform BuzzCity about this?
    • [1] reply
    • Hi ihaveadream! I was in the same problem that you, but then it goes to zero again. I think it's a buzzcity bug.

Now I have a question about your stats, with 164 clicks in the Campaign 27, did you generate something in Mobpartner? Do you track your traffic with prosper222? The links you put on the BuzzCity place to put the Click-Through To are similar like these?

      http://prosper.yourwebsiteexample.co...id=841&t202kw=

      Thanks for reply!
      • [1] reply
  • I want share with you that I have my first CPA conversion, after 25 clicks. Thank you all for motivation.
    • [1] reply
    • That sounds great! I'm still waiting for get more clicks. In my two campaigns, i'm paying 0.04 and 0.05. I got 1422 impressions, but only 4 clicks in total. Check the image

I think this can take a bit time.. i'm targeting great I think and that's why I have very few impressions in about 4 hours that I have my campaign in buzzcity listed.

You all guys motivate me to keep trying! Thanks!
  • Thanks David for sharing your success here.
    • [1] reply
    • David, If we create own banner and before use to promote with buzzcity.com ,We need to send to AM of mobpartner for check and approve or not ?

      Thank
  • Thanks David, great post and great info!
You should create a WSO for this technique! I guess you probably are! Well, hope to provide you with a great review/feedback.
I'm going through the hundreds of offer on MobPartner, trying to stay within the payout range you suggested of $0.70 and $2.10, for CPL and CPS.
It's crazy! There's so many offers! Do you have any tips on picking a good one? Sure, I check out their overall look and ask myself whether I would click on it if it came up on my mobile phone, but surely there's got to be more effective ways to pick an offer!

Is there a place on Mob Partner where we can check out the stats for each offer (clicks, conversion, etc)?

Thanks again, I'm going to have fun with this!
    Cheers!
  • One more question David!
I noticed that pretty much all offers do not allow Custom Creatives, but you mentioned we should design our own banners. Do you get approval from the seller every time you design a banner?

    Thanks
  • David do you think BuzzCity can be effective to sell designing services to offline businesses? Mainly Selling Logos? Does BuzzCity have publishers like these? Thanks!
  • Great tutorial!! Gonna see what I can get out of it. Have you played around with Gif Animations and static gifs? Do you know whats best converting?
    • [1] reply
    • I track with the MobPartner built in tracking system...

I'm promoting all kind of offers

Most of the people promote with CPC!
CPM it's for brands like Adidas or something like this.
I never used CPM, I can't find it good enough for promoting CPA offers, but I will check it for you guys

Now let me explain you about the CTR problem..
So, It's takes sometime to BuzzCity track all the details about your campaign, you should wait few hours and it's will fix itself

      Yes, you need contact MobPartner.

Yes, I always get approved from MobPartner to advertise with my own banners.

I don't really know, sorry

Gif animations and static gifs are one of my split tests...
It's really depends, you can't know what is better, it's change everytime.

      Cheers,
      David
      • [1] reply
  • Congrats !
  • So, I did some calculations and this is the conclusion I came to.
For countries like India, where you can bid 2 cents per click, it would cost you $20 to get 1,000 clicks.
You would need a conversion rate of 2% and an offer that pays you $1 per lead/sale/action to break ever. If the offer pays less then you'd need a higher conversion rate.
To be profitable you'd need a conversion of 3% ($30, hence $10 profit) or say 5% ($50, hence $30 profit).

If you're promoting in countries where you can big 1 cent per click, then you could promote an offer that pays you less than $1 and still be in profit with just a 2% conversion.

It gets challenging when you have to bid 5 cents or more per click.
For example, to be profitable in a country that costs you 5 cents per click and a conversion of 2% you'd need an offer that pays you $3 (bringing you $60, or a $10 profit).
    It's risky...

This confirms what David has been saying about picking offers that pay you $0.70 to $2.50.
I would add that you can only pick low paying offers (less than $1) for countries where BuzzCity traffic costs 1 or 2 cents per click, not more.

This, of course, is based on a low 2% conversion. I have only started my campaigns now so I don't know what conversions to expect. I am just trying to be conservative and on the safe side.

David, could you share with us what conversions you are getting, for the campaigns that, after testing and tweaking, you chose to keep running?

    Thanks!

    • Thank you for sharing.

I notice that MobPartner does not include some creative sizes that BuzzCity can accept. Such as Square 250x250 and Leaderboard 728x90.

Do you create those sizes when you do your own creatives?
      • [1] reply
  • thanks for your great thread, just take action, wish me lucky!
  • Do you have transaction in last 24 hours on MobiPartner? They have some issue with tracking..
    • [2] replies
  • Well, here are my stats from the last days. I spend about $20 in buzzcity for 392 clicks. Those clicks didn't make any conversion. I was using my own banners for these 3 offers from MobPartner (i have no problem telling you the details, because for me, this offers didn't work)

-Candy Crush iPhone for Japan (CPI)
-Puzzle & Dragons for United States (CPI)
-World Of Goo for Germany (CPS)

Well, as i was saying, with 392 no conversions.
From the 392 clicks that BuzzCity charges me $17 aprox, prosper202 only detected 260 clicks.
From those 260 clicks, MobPartner detected only 119 clicks.
From those 119 clicks that MobPartner detected, I had no conversions.

You can check the images here:

In the next hours I will set up new campaigns, I trust on David and I want to have the same success.

Any recomendations? Do you see any problems with this? My ROI now is -100%...
    • [1] reply
    • You spent $20 for only 392 clicks?
With $20 you should get atleast 1500 clicks, what was your bid?

I'm sure if you will stick with it, you can make money.
You just need to find profitable offer with correct targeting...
  • [DELETED]
  • mashe, is it possible that clicks discrepancy caused by your prosper202 server responding time? if the redirecting is slow maybe most of the people close the browser before it loads but you still get charged.

I used direct linking between mobpartner and buzzcity and i got very little clicks discrepancy, for $60 spent i got 3000 clicks in buzzcity and 2900 clicks in mobpartner.

keney, why don't spent it yourself?
    • [1] reply
    • I didn't think that. Maybe you are right.. I'm going to try direct linking. And about those 2900 clicks that mobpartner count for you, did you have any conversion?
      • [1] reply
  • How mean "direct linking" between mobpartner and buzzcity?
  • Mean I don't use any external tracking tool like prosper202 etc, because server responding time where you install prosper202 might be an extra consideration. I am no pro in these issues, this is just my assumption.
    • [ 1 ] Thanks
  • Also, I don't use any external tracking tool. Issue with tracking is related for some campaigns on MobPartner, they are stopped it now and still waiting for reslove issue with tracking. I have stopped my campaign which affected with tracking issue to save my money on ads media. Probably they will solve issue soon.
  • yeah, tracking issue happen always too but mostly on advertisers side, from what I read in the emails.

worst is you already spent lots of money to optimize a profitable campaign and the advertiser says we decided to stop this campaign.
  • I'm looking for the cheapest possible price per click ... It may not be so targeted and only from US.I need that for youtube views.Have you tried that ?Please share...

hey David, one question, when you advertise a non adult offer, do you remove adult channels or use all of the channels i.e mobile portals, adult, mobile content e.t.c
  • CPA + PPC is like gambling and it requires lot of money to test
    • [1] reply
    • Just like that, especially for newbies such I'm
      • [1] reply
  • Do I have this correctly. As an app owner and publisher I sign up to have ads placed on my ads and when people click on the ads I make money. Thats how David made $$$
    • [1] reply
    • Nope. David works as Publisher with Media Buying route, he buy traffic from Ad Networks to have his ads shown on other developer's apps and mobile sites. He only manage his own campaigns and have nothing to do with apps.

You can also make money by developing and publishing your own apps with ads inserted. If you are a developer yourself you have lots of choices to monetize your apps from many Ad networks with CPA/CPC/CPM. The traffic you got from your apps is called inventory and it can be sold to media buyers.

david, when you use buzzcity, do you add adult sites to your targeting channel or you exclude it?
  • I would like to do what you are doing, and yet not sure if I understand your Steps?

Where do I pick an offer to promote? Once I do that, what is next? Thanks for the help.
    • [1] reply
    • You pick offer to promote from MobPartner...
  • Hope I'm not double posting here from the other thread of yours lol but well done mate!

I think mobpartner is currently having a problem updating the current transactions/sales, are you seeing your sales david cause their site says there us some stats delay since yesterday, please let me know how it is on your side.

david pls let me know if your sales are showing since the tracking issues started on mob partner, i asked this earlier

((I think mobpartner is currently having a problem updating the current transactions/sales, are you seeing your sales david cause their site says there us some stats delay since yesterday, please let me know how it is on your side.))
  • I know that this is a dumb question but how do you get traffic. I mean, I understand the part about Buzzcity and creating campaign and getting banner.

But what then - when you have banner, where do you post it to get traffic?
    Thanks for response
    • [1] reply
    • I run a campaign with ad network like BuzzCity, simple as that!

      Cheers,
      David
  • Awesome man!
    Thanks for sharing with us!

  • I'm not impressed with this, but worth a try. Anyone have a result?

  • Hi David,
    I have some questions:-

    1. How you scale your profitable banners?
1.1 Create new campaigns with the same banners?
    1.2 Add more bid
1.3 Advertise in new ad network or you stick in Buzzcity
    1.4 Create more new banners

    2. Did you send all banners to get approve from Mobpartner or send only profitable banners?

    3. What's average CTR of your profitable banners?

    Thanks

  • Hi David, How do you spy the other's mobi ads?
  • It's a great system for sure and it works without doubt, we use a similar system, if you are looking to get into this and are serious, then we can help you get set up. We are in the Mobile space which converts very very well.

I am just starting out with mobile cpa
I have opened a buzzcity and mobpartner account
and am just trying to get the tracking to work properly.

I am definately gonna make this work, its just a matter of time

So @Calumson if you wouldnt mind to lend a helping hand i sure could use one.
Question is what you want in return.

      Add me on skype highko1979
  • my skype is : panda_bunny

everyone can add me and exchange ideas.
  • 2 things turned me off about mobpartner

    1- the daily cap
    2- the slow payment structure
    • [1] reply
    • What are other CPA networks that you recommend?
  • Ill give it a try mate sounds good.

By the way, how long does it take to get approved in a particular offer because when I subscribe, it says pending.
    • [2] replies
    • Anywhere from an hour to a day in my experience (MobPartner)
    • It's will take around 24-48 hours to get approved.
  • Wow! Congratulation man. I wish I could get those results

    Keep on keeping on
  • Excellent case study thanks for sharing, I started my mobile campaign set up a couple of days ago so hopefully will begin to see results soon :-)
  • I have just started turning my 7search campaigns profitable but there is a huge scalibilty issue there.

This seems like something I can really jump into. Will give it a try thanks.

Any Mobile Optimized offers in there?
  • David, may I know can we track following parameters using MobPartner tracker only?

    - IDFA
    - timestamp
    - brand
    - model
    - OS
    - OS version
    - Operator

Do we track these parameters by simply applying the macros into the Target URL at BuzzCity?

    E.g. http://d.mobpartner.mobi/?s=123456&a=1234&idfa=[=idfa=]&date=[=timestamp=]&brand=[=brand=]&model=[=model=]&OS=[=os=]&osversion=[=osversion=]&operator=[=operator=]&subid=123456

Is it correct and we can now track these parameters from MobPartner interface?

If it's not correct, can you create a tutorial on how can we track these parameters?

    Thanks,

    • Same question. Do you have an answer already?
      • [1] reply
  • Is it normal to have 0 impressions in mobpartner but with clicks?

    • [1] reply
    • Perfectly normal. MobPartner can't know how many times your banners had been seen if you are using an ad network.
  • I have the same result as above but even worse, like 500+ clicks but no conversions
    • [1] reply
    • Maybe it really depends on the niche.
I will try to launch some lots of campaigns to see.
  • Thanks for sharing great info...

should i still signup for an ad network?

  • I'm just beginning so maybe a stupid question.
What Account Type choose to start earning:
    Buzzcity:
    Advertiser and publisher?

    MobPartner:
    Publisher? Media Buyer? Ad Network
    • [1] reply
    • BuzzCity : Advertiser
      MobPartner : Media Buyer

Edit: I have written a guide on how to create campaigns on BuzzCity with proper tracking (using a free mobile tracker), I will make it ready tonight and put it in my sig, you may want to wait for it if you don't know how to create a proper campaign. (Btw it will be free)
  • volkansen yet so I'm waiting on MobPartner account activation.

    Waiting for your little tutorial
  • This is a great thread! Please continue to refuel.

I have one question I want to try to do campaigns to pour money into buzzcity or mobpartner?
  • How long does it take to change Pending validation on Validation? and what does it depend?

Most of my subscription gets status: Refused: (

    Why is this happening?

    Dear XXXXX,

Thank you for your interest in running the "Mozook" campaign.

I regret to inform you that we have refused your application at this stage for your service "Buzzcity".

According to our program Terms & Conditions, we reserve the right to deny participation for any reason.

Common reasons for denial are as follows:
    - Adult-rated material not allowed on the campaign
    - Incentivized traffic not allowed on the campaign
    - Crucial information missing on the service
    - Higher quality required on the campaign
    - Nonfunctional URL

  • I think there's a little icon on the left side of each offer detail page that says contact the rep. I'd click that and email them.

    • [1] reply
    • Thanks. I thought this was the answer too but it sends you to the general support form rather than to any manager, much less one assigned to the particular campaign.

Would be nice for mobpartner to chime in here...just want to be sure I'm not missing some faster track to turn these banners around.

  • Hi David, how can i set up so that i can find my convertion stat in my buzzcity account? should i shoose "Clickcode for CPA Networks" and submit?
  • i m facing problem in Submitting banner size "X-tra Large Banner" although its under 10kb and same size as they want
    • [1] reply
    • There is a banner URL beside the banners. Just copy and paste each one. It's also faster because you don't have to download them.
  • In Module 3 you write "(REMINDER: Choose an offer That targets small countries like Iraq, Israel, Iran, Libya,"
I never met an offer for these countries.
Where do you offer? in mobpartner there is nothing for them.
  • DavidAtias1 has been caught posting fake revenue screenshot in his wso - now closed - be careful guys.
    • [1] reply
    • Every conversion/transaction is validated first, in the mean time you see your earnings in the "New" mode, validation process can even take more than a week. His earnings was always in the "Validated" mode, I sensed something was fishy & was trying to learn if instant validation is possible from MobPartner before I accused anybody... Well I don't have to now...
      • [1] reply
  • this is the screenshot posted

If "Today" "New" revenue is $ 1,949.83 , than "This Month" "New" revenue can't be zero, but it should be at least $ 1,949.83 (in this case "This Month" "Total" revenue must be 43,009.16 + 1,949.83 = $ 44,958.99).
    • [ 1 ] Thanks
    • [3] replies
    • If that is the case with Mobpartner... then yeah, he messed up LOL!
    • This is a little worrisome. I'm surprised more people aren't talking about this.

    • David,
Are you alive? Please reply to this

  • EPC. High conversion rate doesn't mean high EPCs.

Mainly, the EPC is more important since it directly relates to revenue.

      • [1] reply
  • Just created a campaign (1st ever). Let's see how it goes!
  • There has been posts of others making money here and there, but I haven't seen anything major or long term.

I have never tested BuzzCity myself.

KJRocker said that it was mostly junk traffic, and he recommended against it.
  • Yeah, Buzzcity is crappy. I have a little money left on there that I'm going to run my last campaigns on. I don't doubt that I'll hit 1500 clicks with 0 conversions. Complete trash. I will test other networks next.
  • Looks interesting
  • I have tried but did not get good results with their traffic. May be my bad.
  • hi david im from morocco and i ask about facebook cpc ads how do you think about it
    thks you very much
    • [1] reply
    • Facebook CPC is great, but not the easiest for newbies.
  • From my understanding, I believe it has to be "validated" before it will be added into "This Month" bucket.
    • [2] replies
    • Yes, that is what it appears people are saying.
    • Strange that my mobpartner summary screenshot was deleted above  Anyway, any "new" earnings for "today" day go into the "new" earnings for the month immediately. So, the total of $1,949.83 shown in David's shot for the "today's" earnings should have also showed up as "new" for "this month", regardless of whatever is reported in the validated bucket.
  • I just tested Buzzcity, and after testing multiple offers and multiple platforms with 0 conversions I'm afraid I'll have to join the club of haters, yeah Buzzcity is mostly junk traffic

Any thoughts about Airpush ? is it better in terms of traffic quality ?
    • [1] reply

    • I don't know about the quality but keep in mind that, Google changed their policy on Google Play and said "No More Notification Ads and Icon Ads in Android Apps".

AirPush is mostly notification ads, so their volume will surely decrease.
      • [ 1 ] Thanks
  • Have you ever done mobile before, it can be a bit different than standard CPA.

Thank you for sharing this with us! Very helpful information
  • I was sent video proof of Davids earnings:

    MobPartner Proof - YouTube

However notice 436 subaffiliates....is this where he's making the real money? Because Mozook campaign has a daily cap of $150.
    • [2] replies
    • What are the subaffiliates?
      • [1] reply
    • Well, I believe that's his overall total affiliate earnings. Just because Mozook were the latest transactions, doesn't mean he was running ones previous to that and paused them for the video or something. The video is definitely real.

P.S - I don't think you should dwell on this this subject as it clearly doesn't make a difference of the potential of Mobile CPA and PPC.

  • I am newbie and have never tried it, but it sounds fascinating and profitable. Will try my hands on it.

    Thanks for the lovely tips.

  • These are what real earnings look like. I have spent 55$ in Buzzcity and have managed to only make 36$ after testing for a few days. Does not look promising.

Also earnings are validate once a week. This picture was taken today.

Has anyone else had luck with Buzzcity + MobPartner?

Has anyone had luck with Mobile CPA AT ALL?

    I really appreciate your answers!

    Thanks,

    Koolkitkat

    • Your result is really great compared to mine, considering you are new in mobile cpa too as me. I spent $140 and only made $40+.

May I know how many campaigns you tested? What countries you targeted? CPI/CPS?

Seriously, I researched a lot from English to other languages Blog/Forums for several months, I don't find many people telling their mobile success, most are saying they lost money, the few who didn't quit because they succeed but they seldom appear on forum. But one thing for sure, you need tricks in media buying in order to make money, these tricks rarely shared even in private forums, you got to spent your own money to test and learn to find these tricks, every Ad Networks are different and there are different tricks with all of them.

  • Don't know if anyone else has this list (if you do then send over please via PM) of the ad network for Buzz Cilty but I have requested they share that with me. Don't really expect they will but had to ask. Trying to create a campaign blindly without know which sites my banner ad will appear on makes little sense. Knowing and understanding the demographics of each site on their network and the site traffic numbers would be nice. No one in their right mind would or should make an investment without lots of stats....but then we mobile cpa marketers feel somehow that it's ok to do so? Investing our money into an ad network with few statistics to give us other than now many ads they have served up or how many users they reach? Are those numbers even real? Who can really say. Buzz City's numbers are very low compared to say Admob or Admobi.......so we need and deserve more information to make more informed choices......empower us please!
  • Hi,
I can't track pubID, as buzzcity requires $50 min balance to get this feature enabled. Will it affect my tracking and earning?

Also what are the other networks apart from buzzcity. Which will be best one to target UK, US , Canada and Australian markets?
