Scrapers and Spy Tools

In the next few weeks I think I may step up for a Pro version of some Spy Tools. Here are the ones I am considering:

LotsofAds

AdZeta

SpyNinja

WhatRunsWhere

BoxofAds

Blackpops

What's your experience with these? At present, I am leaning towards "What Runs Where". I haven't finished researching these yet, are there others I haven't listed you would recommend?

Based on what youve given you are doing media buys? We have lots of tools pretty cheap but no banner spy tools yet
On that note if media buys are your thing, id kost definitely hop on the BoxOfAds beta

Thanks, I am atarting to get into media buys. I've done a few small ones to get my feet wet and actually had a decent return for my first time out. But media buys aren't the only venue I'm in. I started a few months ago with contextual and direct links, then I started adding LP's and they did as expected and increased ROI. As of now I am not limiting myself to one platform or venue, but media buys are very intriguing to me.

BoxOfAds is primarily for PPV Competitor research. It does have a 7 day trial, I haven't seen the beta link though. I definitely am going to give the trial a go though.

Your site looks interesting, may have to give it a go as well.

      Thanks, T J

You forgot iSpionage.com and Follow Scout

Yep, you're right. Both worth a look for everyone! I have been using FollowScout since it came out in Beta and I'm loving it. However, it doesn't have all of the data and doesn't demonstrate all of the media examples. Not sure why.

Looks interesting. One thing I noticed in the video is the age of the information in it. It looks like most of it is 2011 and some of it is 2012. Being considerably cheaper that sites like WhatRunsWhere, do you think it measures up by comparison? Are you a subscriber?

Thanks! I just wanted to add that if you click your username we have a toggle that will turn on adult ads. We've got quite a lot of adult data, but we have to keep it hidden by default for those with more puritan sensibilities.

Thanks, I have been with Follow for quite a while now. It is a little lacking in some info, but Wes is very prolific with his development and if your on his list he'll keep you up[ on new things in the works. Good tool to have.

I tried PPV spy, which a library of about 800 Leadimpact ad impressions, their data seemed rather out of date with only a few new ads collected in recent months. At the time they had a pretty cheap first month trial, they do have a few useful landing page scripts as well.

One guy who stole my CPY campaign left my tracking code in the lander, fouling up my stats and allowing me to track back his activity to when he first viewed it on BoxofAds.
