Question about landing pages and websites

I have a question in regards to landing pages. If your doing a CPA offer for say a free iPad. If you create a landing page to forward to the offer, do you purchase a new domain each time like winafreeipad.com or do you have one main site and make the landing page a sub page of that like mymainsite.com/winafreeipad

Also, if you do it the second way, do you have links to all your landing page offers on your home page just in case someone does go to your main homepage for some reason and not a landing page?

    I prefer a sub page first. If the cpa offer is proved to be profitable, I may build a separate page for it.

      Hi Justin,

      Personally I use a sub page for 2 main reasons:

      The customer is not lost in it way with another website.

      My website keeps it identity.


      And yes I would advice you to put all the different links of the landing pages in your homepage so that your website is organized and the customer can go to an offer and then another one easily.

      To conclude, the 2nd choice is better for the User Experience and for organizing yourself.

      This. But instead of subpages I like to use sub domains for my landing pages eg winafreeipad.mymainsite.com

    It depends, i prefer to have a full domain, but folders under a master domain work too and it might be a good choice if you are starting to test offers out

    Thanks for all the answers! Sounds like subpages are the way to go. Another question, your main URL do you just have like a company name domain like stevesmarketing.com/offer or do you have more of a sales sounding like getfreeofferstoday.com/offer

    Yes, it is common to just use sub pages/folders, and sub-domains.
