Hey all, I need some expert guidance. I am totally new to CPA marketing, I got approved a few days ago, but am concerned about a few things. Ok, first off, my traffic sucks. Let's say for example, I hire someone on Fiverr to promote an offer to his email list (I know targeting is important, but let's say I choose a broad offer, like free Iphone), could I be penalized from using this source? or if via the same Fiverr, I get someone to tweet my offer to folks, is it a problem? my network is Maxbounty, and I do not have incentive traffic active (according to the settings), since I didn't fully understand it. Would these sources be a problem?
Thanks so much

the incentive part isnt the problem since you are not incentivizing anyone to complete the offers. The problem lies in how you are driving traffic to the offer. When you sign up for an affiliate network, they ask you about your website and where you generate traffic. If what you disclosed is not consistent with what you're doing, then there is the problem. You can always contact your affiliate manager as well

Yes, possibly always ask your Affiliate Manager.

Also I wouldn't highly recommend not using Fiverr as a traffic source, it isn' the best place to start.

I agree, steer clear of fiverr for getting people to do email submits. You will be banned by the network pretty quickly.

If the offer allows you to use either social traffic or email traffic, it wouldn't be at risk.

But I wouldn't suggest doing so though since traffic through fiverr gig isn't of quality.

or, something I was experimenting with last night (but didn't work) was trying to post the link in groups that are of interest, but all I got was a warning. My campaign allows social traffic, but how do I get it? let's say for example I decide to do a paid ad, can I direct the traffic to the offer itself? I have a website but it's not related to the offer I want to promote, so I don't want to direct to my site then redirect. Has anyone done it via FB?

Most groups don't allow you to promote aff links in your posts. I'll suggest you to create your own page/group and then promoting on your own page/group. This way, you have more control over everything.

I have my page on FB, I tried placing the link on my own page, and yet it was refused citing it as being spam. What can I do?? I'm finding it ridiculously difficult to promote my affiliate link. Can I use a free blogging platform to set up a landing page?

Do you have a domain? You shouldn't use the actual direct link anyway as it looks pretty ugly. There are some re-direct codes out which allow you to link to your CPA offer and Facebook won't notice it. But even some of those codes started to not work. Best bet is to just make a simple landing page like you said. I would personally purchase a domain which is generic so you can use it for multiple offers and just make new pages.

I wouldn't trust many people on fiverr, if they do something that's not compliant than you will be liable. I'd research other traffic sources. Do you know if you are interested in paid or free traffic?

Social Media can be a very key part in driving traffic to CPA offers if you are not wanting to spend a couple of dollars on traffic. It will take some time to build up a social "empire" but it will be very rewarding. Try out YouTube, it's probably the quickest to get going.

When promoting CPA be very careful on promoting because some of the rules
or requirements are not using those type of advertising. Be sure to contact your
AM to talk about promoting your offers. Btw, it depends on what you are promoting
if you are promoting dating offers then, I prepared POF or TrafficJunky.

    Cheers!
