Both of these are interesting, I am wondering if some of you can lend your experience and opinions about these two resources.

Also, if you have used their POF Spy Tools, I would be interested in knowing more about the quality of the data returned by them.

Thanks, T J

I think Imgrind closed? Not sure though.

I think affexpert is tools though isn't it?

Sorry I haven't seen the inside of either of them to be honest.

Imgrind is run by Ruck though so it's gotta be worth it.

Yep! Ruck is IMGrind and has a great following I'm told. IMGrind does have a forum and AffExpert does not. They both have the tools, I am looking to hear from users that have experience with one or the other or both. Is the forum worth it in IMGrind? If not, are the tools alone worth it? You can get the tools in both, I am seeking the value in the two sites and the tools.

I've posted in a few forums asking about these two, and I have to say that the responses have been extremely limited. No one seems to have any objective (or subjective) experiences to share. Are they winding down or out dated maybe?

What traffic source(s) are you looking to master right now?

Just Plenty of Fish or any others?

Like others have said 1 is a forum/guides and the other is tools. So you have to ask yourself, do you need a support community & guides or tools?

You can't go wrong with either.

    Hi Greedy,
It's always good to hear from you! Over the past 5 or 6 months I've been able o get to a steady positive ROI on POF, I'm ahead of the game with 7Search (but it's spotty), and I've recently been introduced to some folks at Bing (through Luke). I'm doing okay, but I want to up my game a bit. I read everything by you, William, Kenster, and a few others. I'm pleased to say that your blog has made me money, along with the others I mentioned!

What I'm looking for is some folks that are currently members of one or both of these two sites as well as the tools. One of the tools that interests me is the POF Spy Tool. Just wondering if that is worth joining either site for the tools they have. I'm looking for others that have used the tools on these sites and what their individual experiences have been with them. My plan is to really up my game at POF and also to start moving towards media buying. If I can get my daily average up to $250 (currently at about $120), then I should have the financial resources to get into media buying.

So, experience with these two sites and experience with their tools is what I am hoping to get some data on from some of their members. Maybe none of them hangout here, or maybe they just don't want to report for some reason.

Thanks, Greedy, for all you do!

Here's my take on the PoF spy tools, although you should take my advice with a grain of salt as I don't really advertise much with PoF currently.

I suppose it helps to see which ads have been up for quite a while, as there may be a fey key elements you can grab from them and implement into your own ads to increase CTR. But if your sole intent is to rip the ads and re-use them, keep in mind that hundreds of other affiliates are probably doing the same thing. So those ads you see on there are likely already heavily saturated.

It's also probably one of the reasons why ads last so little on PoF with a decent CTR. At least in my experience. But then again who knows. Not everybody that sees those ripped ads is going to take action and set up the campaigns themselves.

I got access to the PoF spy tools from my StackThatMoney membership a while ago. And while I didn't find that tool to be incredibly useful, I did however really like their PoF ad uploader tool which saves a LOT of time; especially if you're uploading hundreds of different creatives to test.

So my recommendation, join STM for the Ad Uploader tool. That is, unless you already have it.. You'll get the spy tool as a bonus there anyways. If you look around you can find a 20% discount (I know there's one in your self-hosted Prosper202 resources page).

      Thanks tooAlive,

Yep, you're right about copying campaigns. I don't do that, but I am always interested in the angles and graphics used by others. This why I have interest in knowing more about their POF Tools. I have Mr Greens POF Uploader and it's a blessing, very helpful. I have worked out several angles for my campaigns on POF and I got the ideas for them by researching others ads and LP's by creating a profile on POF and looking at the creatives and following them to the landers. This is very tedious. The result is I have some very unique angles that have run for almost 6 weeks now and I haven't seen any ads with my angles except my own. I know they'll eventually get picked up by others.

I like spy tools because they stir my imagination for my own unique creativeness. It also let's me know if an angle I am considering is already in use and whether it may saturated. I've been a business professional all of my life, one of the golden rules has always been, for thousands of years, know your competition.

Did you find the STM forum useful, or was it just another member site with the same data we present in this forum?

      Hey Coach,
Thanks for chiming in. I agree too, about them not being what they claim to be. They do have value for me, but from what I have seen, the majority are over pitched. Even so, I do find them useful. WRW, Adbeat, and others seem to be plugging along at their infamously high costs of hundreds of dollars per month for their reporting. People, I don't think, spend this kind of money without getting benefit, in my experience.

I think POFPro from iPyxel is the new POF Ad Management tool you're speaking to. I plan to sign up today for the 30 day trial. It looks great.

I think they closed registrations? I'm not knocking it at all. From what I've heard it's pretty damn good.

There's a pof tool now that tracks and manages ads very nicely too. It's got a free 30 day trial and is supposed to be really slick.

In that case, the spy tools would probably be a good idea. Even if you only managed to find one profitable campaign thanks to them, you'd probably make your investment back and then some.

And I was actually going to mention creating your own PoF profile to see other ads. I made a few profiles myself before I got the spy tools.

As far as STM goes, there's definitely some great information on there. And while a lot of their campaign guides are a year or two old, there's still some stuff that's still very relevant today.

The tools themselves paid for the subscription (mobile tracker, Mr. Green's uploader, spy tools, ect..) but there's also info on there that I haven't seen anywhere else. All in all, I think it was a good investment.

I'm curious to see what's on the other paid forums, but at this point taking action is the most important thing.

I think it depends on what you are looking to get out of them? Are you looking for a training program or a tools program (or both)?

      Yeah Coach,
IMGrind and AffExpert are teamed up, along with Mr Green. I think Mr Green is teamed up because the other two have his uploader included in their respective sites. Mr Green doesn't have all of the tools on his site that the other two do. IMGrind is the only one of the three that has a forum, AffExpert is pretty much the Grind without the forum, just tools.

No doubt mediamarket, he is an accomplished guy. But how can one go wrong? That's the question I seek answers to. Actually, how can I go right, I suppose is the other side of that question. Some have reported the forum is stale. Some have reported the forum is archival and that new and relevant data is added often. Clarification is what I need. I know that they are successful with their respective sites, but there are a myriad of sites by successful people that peaked with their sites years ago and haven't contributed anything new, especially in their forums. Ask yourself how many sites you belong to that really don't bring fresh meat to the table daily, weekly, or monthly anymore. I am a naturally born analyst I guess, I like to know before I buy what the product truthfully will bring me.
