POF newbie question - what is the lifespan of a campagin?

Hi,

Newbie question - on POF or any network for that matter, what is the average lifespan of a successful campaign?

Like if I'm able to get a single campaign to start paying me $100/day, how long will that last for? Days? Months?

I know it's different for every campaign but at what point can you tell it's going to go from $100/day to $0/day?

Thanks

    Depends on the niche.

    What niche were you thinking?

You want a unique niche that has good sized demographic.

That would be ideal, but sometimes you just have to go after what works.

      Like dating offers on POF.

I mean, how long can 1 campaign be profitable for? And when do you when it's about to die?

I think that a camppaign can be profitable for a long time as long as you keep testing

It depends on the size of your target audience and how much volume you can get depending on what you bid.

My numbers are all over the board with PoF... but my dating and bizopp lead gen campaigns usually last a couple months if I keep changing my ads to avoid banner blindness.

Your campaign will eventually die down though, but there are a couple things you can do: you can switch out the offers, change your creatives, target a new audience, change your angle, etc.

Honestly, it varies. I've had campaigns die in a few days and others that last months. This is exactly why you need to diversify and constantly be testing new ads, offers, etc - this way you can hopefully keep ahead of the game and don't just drop to nothing overnight.

You'll learn that POF is pretty much all over the place, some will die too quickly, others will last months without much babysitting while others will last but need quite alot of switching around ads...
