Little help about CPS offers.

Hello Warriors,

Right now, I am doing email submit and short form submit cpa offers. I was thinking of starting with CPS offers. So, I asked my AM if they place some cookies on user's computer like clickbank so if they come and buy at a later time, i get the commission. My AM said that the user must make purchase in the same browser session and no cookie is placed.

This got me a little worried. So my concern is, do people generally buy on their first visit?

Thanks a lot.

Typically, unless the offer is highly branded, the majority of sales are made on the first viewing.

A good strategy with CPS offers is to build an email list, this way you keep sending the person your affiliate link.

CPA offers are more often promoting a single product sales page, while affiliate programs are more likely to be promoting some commerce site products, where buying at a later date is a greater possibility.

You might look into 3rd party cookie re-targeting in which you set cookies on your own presale page that enables you to show the prospect banners ads through multiple ad networks remnant ads through sites like retargeter.com, clickcertain or sitescout.

I would suggest you to try CPL instead of CPS. Leads are so much easier to deliver, than making sales and payouts could be very high, depending on the product!

This is called a "view through" conversions, and sometimes it counts as affiliate sales and sometimes it doesnt. We track these on the Bevo Ad Exchange. If you need any help, feel free to reach out!

Just from watching my own traffic for visitors and sales, I find 80-90% of it comes on the initial visit. Just out of curiosity which network and offers were you looking at?
