Targeted Online Banner Ad CPM's

There are some digital display networks that offer hyper targeted local impressions. So you can get geo targeting down to zip code plus choose multiple demographics and/or interests.

What I'm having a hard time figuring out is what the market price (cpm) for ads like these. I did a google search but not having much luck.

As a reseller, I'm currently paying $5 cpm and from what I've seen so far that seems really high but I'm just getting my feet wet in terms of market research.

Any direction is greatly appreciated.

    I'd venture to say that it will vary widely depending on the locale. You have to imagine that places like New York City, Los Angeles, Miami, London, Hong Kong would probably have more value/potential and thus higher CPMs than some small town in the USA.

    $5 CPM is really high no matter what but you're basically paying a premium for the extreme targeting, which can work magic for local business leadgen (far less saturated than your typical CPA stuff).
