Mentor Search

Hey guys,

I've been trying to earn money (any amount of money at this point) online for a while now. I've tried eBook, Matrix and funnel systems, the works and to date my profit is...well negative.

I'm sure my biggest problem is that I've been going it alone and missing crucial steps along the way. I've been learning a lot from you amazing Warriors here, but the number one think I have learned is that I need a mentor.

So here's the question. I am ambition and driven and willing to do whatever I am instructed to in order to learn and start actually making money. Can anyone suggest a good mentor for me to contact?

Thanks!

Tyler

  • Well if you want 1on1 sometimes you have to wait for slots to open up from recommended guys. If you want group, check out:

    affplaybook
    stack that money
    imgrind

    They're good sites.
    • [ 1 ] Thanks
  • What is your budget like?

Getting quality 1 on 1 help is not usually cheap. Joining a private forum is 1 route, but doesn't promise 1 on 1 help.
  • He's probably not looking for 'cheap'

You get what you pay for
  • I'm looking for quality, sustainable mentoring/ tutelage that will lead to building myself a sustainable income. I have just about $5-600 to spend.
  • Ppc-coach was nice enough to not mention his own forum. I recently joined his, and I must say that it is pretty impressive. You can post info and he responds with good info. He also has a 30 day challenge which is a good way to start. His forum will give you a good solid base for ppc. I'm pretty excited about it.
  • After some research I went with William Souza when I decided to change my business model from free traffic to paid traffic. Have a look around there are lots of talents and wealth of knowledge in this forum.

Its all about finding the best match for your requirements.

    Cheers

    • First of all select a traffic source and than find some one who is good at that specific traffic source and see if they can offer you coaching
  • Do you know which traffic sources you are interested in learning?
  • As I said, I am willing to learn where I can. I'm just looking for a base and am willing to learn any traffic source.

    • I may be hated for this post but let me tell you something, this forum has tons of good information. You just need to find a good method and stick to it. You don't need any mentor for this. Yes, you will encounter a lot of problems initially, for getting help you need a good network of friends doing IM and you are good to go.

Don't waste money on getting mentors. Invest that money into a website and earn $$$

      Good luck buddy

      Cheers
  • I would suggest you take up some private forums and set up some campaigns and scale everything take up private coaching once capital builds
  • Hey everyone I really appreciate all the advice. It's been very helpful! A few mentioned private forums. Do you have any in particular or links? Or at least guide me in the direction to find them? Thanks!

  • What are the differences (basics) between PPV and PPC? I was looking heavily at AffPlaybook. It seems pretty good from their opening sales page at least.

    • If you want to do PPV i would recommend ppvguru.com
    • There are many differences between PPV and PPC. Do you mean which one is better, or the actual differences in the way they work? There's a lot of money to be made in both PPV and PPC. One of them isn't better, easier, or able to give you faster results.

Yes, Aff Playbook is the best site in the history of the entire internet. The owner is a little strange though.

  • Try out the imgrind private community here IMGrind - Industry Trusted Internet Marketing Coaching And Mentoring
There are great reviews about it.
  • If you want some questions answered, you can always drop me a line. I do not charge any money though, just a humble help...
  • PPC is pay per click, PPV is pay per view. With PPC if you use a search network campaign, people are actively seeking information on the keyword you're bidding on. Meaning it's supposed to have a higher converion rate if you get the ad, landing page and offer combination right. However, PPV is good too. It is done using adware where people install programs and get pop up ads on their computers. The software "watches" where they go on the internet and pop up ads accordingly. Say you had a walmart gift card offer, you could bid on walmart.com and have a pop up ad saying 'want a free gift card from walmart'?

It's interupption advertising though. It requires a different approach. Neither is "better" both work.
