On this ad network I'm in, I'm finding the affiliate manager is being a little too pushy. I know AMs are great for advice, recommendations, and help, but when they want you to start a specific new campaign at a moment's notice, that's a little much. This has happened three times this week. The first time I tried to be "on board", but I didn't do the research and due diligence and ended up with a stupid media buy for a website catering to India and Pakistan. You would never know it my visiting the site, but Alexa told me later the true story. Of course the offer is only good in the U.S. Now I'm trying to salvage my ad space through a ClickBank offer. I'm guessing AMs get commissions too based on the offers they can get out there. But hey, it's no risk to them. I'm the one that pays for these campaigns.

So I'm asking, is this common? I'm running multiple revenue streams and don't like to feel I'm working for someone else. Give me some good recommendations, but leave it at that.
Any ramifications for NOT following the whims of an AM?
