LeadImpact help! 0 conversions

Hello everybody, I have been reading this forum for months learning a ton about paid traffic sources. I finally jumped in and launched a Leadimpact campaign promoting a free stock trading webinar.

I have had over 500 impressions today between 4 landing pages, and 0 conversions! I'm offering a completely free webinar so I don't understand how I wouldn't get at least a few people interested. I am targeting a few very specific urls, like scottrade.com and etrade.com.

If anyone here could check out these landing pages and give me your opinions I would really appreciate it! I don't know if I need to give it more time or if I need to completely rework the entire process.

here are the my landing pages.

I like the LPs and I'm surprised you aren't getting any conversions, however your geo IP is not working! It's just blank where the city should be. Still I thought some people would convert anyways.

Also I think a picture of a person could help on the LPs where you say "I made ...." cause who made that much?? Make it some average Joe looking guy.

Might want to look into targeting as well. Usually when I go to my broker site I am all about business and want to make a trade or check a balance. Maybe target personal finance websites that are more educational in nature.

Thanks for letting me know about the Geo ip DaveWarrior! I tested it on every computer i could and it seemed to work. I'll definitely try out your suggestions to see if I can get something to happen. If I can get even a 1% conversion rate it would be a huge success so hopefully I can get there.

You are asking there phone number on the popup?, Would you feel safe putting your phone number on pop up?. First just collect email, then build relationship.

    Have a good day!

I'll definitely try to think of some different urls that might be a little more targeted.

I knew asking for a phone number would definitely hurt conversions, but I thought i would still get a few people to fill it out!

Thanks for you help guys time to make some changes and then try again!

Dont think of popups as just number, imagine an actual person on the other side and put yourself in there shoes. This is why research is of utmost important.

Here is what I would test:

    - Remove Phone Number
    - Offer something better for signing up. A "one night event" doesn't sound that concrete. Try something like a "PDF Report" ect...
    - Add Talking about Audio
    - Add scarcity with "# Spots Left!"
    - Call out the user's referring website. "Welcome eTrade Traders..."

You could try testing a handful more impressions per test. I would go with a 1,000.

Thanks Greedy, I've learned a ton from your posts in the past few months, so I'll definitely listen to your advice. If I can even get to 1% conversions you'll all be my heros!

I have a general question about these four landers. They're formatted at 775x400. I understand that's the "safe area", but I've being doing mine at 800x600 leaving the important stuff withing the 775x400 "safe area". Does it matter or am I doing it wrong?

I'm not sure it's my first campaign, but from all the research i've done around this forum and others it seems to depend on a few factors, such as how many toolbars they have in their internet browser.

I understand that 750x400 is the correct size, but you should have a color that matches the ad behind it in case they happen to see more...I haven't done this and I could be wrong of course.

I've been trying to get my ad to come up on a virtual machine for the past few days to see what my ad looks like, but no luck so far.
