Is it really risky to install the LeadImpact toolbar..?

Hi All,

So I was thinking of installing the LeadImpact toolbar myself to see what happens with the pop ups but reading other threads people are saying for the most part don't install it on your main computer, because essentially things could get crazy..

This does seem a little surprising if you're trying to target people who have the toolbar installed but are afraid to have it on your own machine..

Is this just an exaggeration..?

I'm assuming it could easily uninstalled as any other program or turned off.

Anyone here have it installed on their main computer without it being a problem?

Thanks

It's not that difficult to get rid of. But just use a virtual machine, that way you can just delete the VM when you're done and don't have to worry about any possibility of infection or trouble removing it.

When you say virtual machine, do you mean some type of software on your reg computer?

    Thanks

It's adware, I wouldn't install it on my main pc, but to me it's just easy to either setup a virtual computer or even just use an old clunker
