Do People Buy From Facebook Ads?

So lets say at Peerfly there is a high converting offer. There's actually one called:

LumiDoh- The Doh That Glows. LumiDoh is the doh that glows. The special made doh shines, stretches and never leaves messes. LumiDoh allows your kids to create whatever they imagine; the possibilities are endless.

Its a kids chalk board type thing and has good stats. Here are the numbers:

EPC: $2.79, Payout: $9.75, CR: 25.47%

So lets say I set up a facebook ad that targets parents of children, new parents etc. Could I expect to make some sales by direct linking this? Or is facebook mainly just good for dating and gaming offers?

Simple question which will answer your question

"When was the last time you clicked on FB Ad and bought stuff?"

If you clicked and bought it then there are people like you who will BUY.

Rest are just monkeys from MARS.

You can't 'expect' anything when it comes to affiliate marketing. Just because an offer has a high network EPC, does not mean that it will convert if you direct link it. It's more likely that the affiliate(s) that are running that specific offer has a very optimized sales funnel. That said, just test it out and see what happens.

Facebook is good for any type of offers - I've made plenty of money on almost every niche with Facebook. It's that kind of limiting thought that makes people hesitant. Just remember that you're marketing to people. Don't worry about the traffic source, you just need to think about how to get the people to buy/sign up.

People do buy from facebook ads, and that is what facebook ads are all about, to target the right people and earn from them.

I've had my top earning days with successful sale/trial campaigns on Facebook. People definitely buy on Facebook. It's all about your angle and making sure people who are actually interested are the ones seeing your ads

I do both. With landing page I always host it on my domain. I don't do landers within pages.

Facebook ads are a huge business for us! We make a great living just on the FB side of things. Just like Luke says... your own domain with a landing page, easy!
