Questions about LPs for CPA offers

Confused on how the LP process works with CPA  Are you guys capturing email addresses and then sending visitors to your offers? Offering a report? Sending email sequence and then your offer (3-5 emails later)?

Thanks

It all depends on an offer... If I promote dating sites for sure I don't use opt-in but if I promote some fast cash loan, I do.

As mentioned before, it really depends on your intentions and strategy. If youre primary focus is building an email list than by all means you can start with a LP thats a squeez page. On the other hand a lot of people will suggest first finding a offer and LP that covert. After you have a successful campaign than start split testing with a squeeze page.

As far as your email funnel goes that also matters on your intentions for your list. Do you plan on building a list with the intention of doing solo ads, and ad swaps? Are you looking to build a high quality list where you provide high quality content, then only recommending products that you believe in? You will find that depending on the marketer the way they setup there funnel vary drastically.

I myself am in the process of building both types of lists mentioned above. One that is more of a burn and turn list thats main purpose is solo ad sales, and another list that is my high quality list. Hope this helps.

      To Your Success!

Thanks Ben! I had planned on just building it to send quality content and offers to, but the solo ads route might be another route to consider as well.

What does a dating LP look like? Do they click on a link on your landing page and get taken to the offer? Thanks!!

Think about it. You've landed on thousands on landing pages and ended up at offers. How'd you get there?

Landing Pages - presell products and can capture email addresses or what they call partials. A partial is a full contact information bundle you can call to sell products too. Preselling presells an idea or emotion before sending them to the answer (your offer your being paid to promote).

Ok, I just logged into POF and clicked on a few LPs. Interesting approaches.

One appeared to be a squeeze page, but whether or not you entered your info, once you clicked submit, it would take you to the offer.

Another LP had a mini survey which eventually "approved" my answers...haha..And then a "proceed" button.

My apologies to you if those were your ads. I only clicked twice = ) They were targeted towards my age and ethnicity..I was ready to sign up too..hahaha.

It can work however you want it to work

Some people use a landing page to collect emails, others just use them to presell on the offer.

    Everyone does it differently

    Algee, *TEST* different approaches...

    -direct linking
    -lead capture
    -incentives
    -3, 5, 7 email sequences
    -etc.

Each has its pros and cons.

I personally like to use landing pages and capture leads as I've seen it's a better strategy for long-term monetization. You can keep sending your list emails until they buy or opt-out... essentially doing an email series for as long as you want.

Thank you! I was just thinking about my long term strategy....and I know the money is in "the list". I'll definitely be split testing for sure.
