Is POF a good network?

I want to start working with them but I need some reviews. I want to promote some dating offer, if it matters.

I've used POF tons of times and while I absolutely love them for some of the targeting options they have, you have to be careful what you decide to advertise. I've heard that dating offers really perform the best on there (read the advertisers TOS, I believe the dating offer you're promoting has to be paid). But other than that I know that people have had great success with them.

Obviously I'd also recommend using a link tracker if you're going to use them. My last campaign I ran with them said it had 9 clicks in 6,000 impressions but my link tracker only said 5 clicks, so you have to be careful and make sure you're actually getting what you want out of it. I've never used POF to link to a LP which is what I'm setting up to start doing now so it should be fun!

Just an fyi as well, I'd be careful when direct linking with them. Last time I did that I had about 150,000 impressions - 178 clicks, and only 1 sale at $27. Of which, my commission was $11.99

Granted at that point I was very new to IM but there's still some things you have to watch out for on POF, just like any other advertising platform. They also allow you to target people based on how much they click on ads.... i wouldn't recommend going to the people who have over 11 clicks - these are people that may be interested and will often times give you a higher CTR but they usually don't convert. You want 0-3 or 3-6 I think is the other one. Again, that's if you decide to target by clicks. Other people on here may tell you differently, this is just in my personal experience. Hope this helps.

A few months ago I got my campaigns up to a $100 daily average and it held in that ROI range for about 2 months. In the last 5 weeks I haven't been able to get more than $17 in a single day. I have built a dozen new landers, created several new angles, wrote and re-wrote all of my copy, switched to a completely new set of images. I have tried everything. Perhaps I'm just not in my "zone" at the moment, but I find it very difficult at the this time to compete with the marketers that are placing a thousand or even two thousand ads at a time on POF.

I hope you have greater success than myself with POF at this time, if I find a better formula then I will come and share my thoughts on how I got it working again.

POF is great. They love affiliates as well, they are well worth your money.

Promoting dating offers on a dating website is technically a good idea as the target audience is perfect. I also know POF does allow the competition to advertise on their site, so yeah, good idea. Only issue is dating offers dont pay much these days

  POF not only allows advertising for its 'core' niche (dating) but it offers incredible targeting options, excellent support in the forums, helpful guides - all up, and excellent place if you're looking for a safe place to start.

You may, however you need to constantly tracking the traffics, because some is bad traffic
