How well is the conversion of solo ads?

Hi Warriors,

I have been reading up on WF for quite some time, especially in the advertising category.

Everybody is talking about buying solo ads to promote affiliate links but I wonder how well can solo ads convert?

Let say, we have a scenario that the solo ads are written averagely and it is being sent to 10k subscribers.

How much of this 10k is going to convert into my subscribers or buyers?

Thanks in advance, I am asking this because I just got a reply from one of the guys selling solo ads in the weight loss category and he had about 96k plus subscribers on his list and his is selling solo ads at a fixed price of $750.

Pretty sure I know exactly who you're talking about. It was one of the few in the weight loss category that I found. Unfortunately I don't have $750 to give this complete stranger lol. But I'm very interested in this as well. The thing that concerns me with a list that big is I can't imagine that even 60,000 of them are responsive. Regardless, that could be the one and only solo ad you ever have to send if they are..

    Yeah, Sonixkid3000.

I was kind of thinking the same thing when I saw that he had such a huge number of subscribers on his list.

Under normal circumstances, these subscribers would have been worn out and conversions wouldn't be as high as we might thought it would be...

Exactly my thinking, definitely let me know if you decide to do it and what kind of results you see!

Well I would use my common sense, If this guy has a big list that is targeted, Why would he be selling them to anyone else other then hitting them up his self to make much bigger gains then he would make selling the list, and the only answer I could come up with that makes sense is cause he already got what he could from them.

If you're going to use paid traffic cause that is all that his is, Then I would suggest going after search engines where every click at least came from a targeted person who took the time to type in your keyword.

It is pretty hard to tell the quality of the list without testing it.

    They can vary a lot.
