Is Payoneer Really a legit Company as they claim

I have been with Payoneer(for cpa payments) for 6 months of which my last 2 months have been horrible. I got double charged by my ATM and contacted my local bank on the same. After some verifications with my back, I was instructed to contact them and file a chargeback of which I did immediately. 2 months later, they are yet to take any substantial steps on the same despite promising to do so and have case settled within 60 to 90 days. Feeling impatient, I have been following up so they can start the process and it was not until this week I got an email from them saying they have started the process(not sure if they have actually started), almost 2 months after. What pains me is that I have to wait for another 90 official days before I get back my money. Anyone here with a similar experience?

First of all Cool Down... No Worries !

I am using Payoneer and they are awesome. You do not have to worry about your money.
I had a similar issue in the past. I tried to withdraw the money from an ATM but I couldn't. Later I found out they have still deducted the money. I contacted them and immediately I had to fill up a form and send the details. Yes, they hold the money for 90 days due to some verification which is bad but in the end you receive your money after the hold period.
Working with Payoneer since 6 years and that was the only issue I had once. Your money is in safe hands.

@prashanna, At least you are lucky you waited for 90 days. From the look of things, I have to wait for about 150 days considering the chargeback process began this week almost 2 months after filing it and I have been instructed to wait for another 90 days. What irks me is that they took so long to begin the process knowing very well of how lengthy it is once started due to mastercard involvement

@dronehawk: I'm sorry to hear that you were double charged by the ATM. While this is a rare occurrence, it does unfortunately happen with some ATMs. Please note, however, that this would have happened with any credit/debit card and is not specific to Payoneer.

As a fully regulated US company, Payoneer must follow strict procedures when filing chargebacks. We submit the chargeback to MasterCard on your behalf, and it is then reviewed directly with them and the merchant in question (in this case the bank running the ATM). Officially chargeback can take up to 90 days to be completed.

Payoneer unfortunately has no control over this processing time, as with all companies that must file the same procedures. I assure you that as soon as the chargeback has been processed and we receive further details, we will notify you.

Please let me know if you have any questions.

Thanks for all your comments so far and Nissim for your update on this matter. I hope the process runs well though it will be better in future if the concerned authorities review chargebacks procedures and perhaps be shortened.

Thanks for the follow up, dronehawk. We certainly agree with you that we'd like the process to be as easy and convenient as possible.

If you'd like to PM me your Payoneer account e-mail, I'd be happy to personally check and make sure the process goes smoothly.

    Paxum is better for payments.

If you are using payoneer and you stop receiving payments, they will close your account.

We do not close accounts for inactivity. If you don't receive payments and have a $0.00 balance for an extended period of time, we will disable your Payoneer card, mainly for security reasons. Your account and payment methods will remain enabled, and you can sign in to your account at any time to enable the card again automatically (at no charge).

    Hi,

    I have a question as a non us citizen;

How does payoneer handle chargebacks for international affiliates (with the virtual usa bank account on payoneer card)?
Do they payout always after a 90 days period or 45 day period or something.......??

Does I can cash out my money (via ATM) always after 90 days?
    How they handle that?

Does they have a chargeback reserve? (10%,20%???)

The biggest problem for affiliates/ for all sellers when a customer do an chargeback so your account balance is negative or you not can cashout your money, you must wait another 90 days or so....

    best wishes

@marco005: Payoneer is not an affiliate network, and so any chargebacks related to your affiliate conversions or online sales would be processed by the affiliate network or online marketplace you are working with. They would each have their own chargeback policy, so you would need to check with them.

The US Payment Service is a collection account, meaning it can only receive funds (and not send funds). Once you receive a payment it is funded to your Payoneer account, and you can then access the funds immediately using your Payoneer Prepaid Debit MasterCard card.

Has Anyone had problems with opening an account with Payoneer... They ask you for proof of ID , you send the documents to them , then they ask you to wait... and you wait and you wait.

Is there anyway to get them to speed that process at all.

      Regards,

      Shaher

When applying for a Payoneer account, you may be asked to confirm your information (in this case asked for a copy of your photo ID).

IDs are generally reviewed within a few business days. If this time has passed and you would like an update, please don't hesitate to contact us for further assistance: Contact Us | Payoneer

          Hey Nissim,

Following your suggestion... I contacted Us/Payoneers, so I got onto the online chat and they operator was quite rude to me and disconnected the chat.
So I phoned Contact Us/Payoneer and I got this lady with an Eastern European accent on the line and we sorted the whole thing out... She verified my ID and apologiozed it took over a week to verify the ID. So now, she promise to send me my card tomorrow.

All in all it was not that painful and it ended well ....

          Thanks
          Shaher
