Clicks but zero convertion

Hi guys,
I new to CPA. I have a ad campaign running using leadimpact.com for the advertising and I am running a Ad from Maxbounty. The only thing I can think is either I am targeting the wrong demographic or Maxbounty are stiffing me on the CPA. I can see on Maxbount the clicks (265) but no Action. I know 265 is not alot for 1 day....but I would have imagined some conversion. This has been the 3rd day in a row with no conversions, about 700 clicks total.

Any ideas.

It might be your targets, you are targeting high traffic keywords but with a lot of competition

No? I think you misunderstand I am getting clicks on my ad, just not converting to sales. almost 700 clicks in 3 days with 1 conversion.

If you got 700 clicks but still no conversions then I would suggest you change the offer. Your ads might be good but the product doesn't convert well.

You need to change the offer, it seems your problem is when the guys click and go to your landing page, then the problem comes, make the first load screen eye catchy

Check up if someone is not poping on your ad landing page. This may ruin your conversion madly. Good way to prevent this if advertiser allows it is to send people to fully iframed offer page.

    Thanks,
    Johnny

It can be your targeting, landing page, or just your offer. I wouldn't give up on this campaign without testing, because the traffic volume is coming.

What kind of offer is it?

I would assume it is your targeting, or if it is a zip or e-mail submit it could be the offer.

After that many clicks I would start testing something new.

I have to agree with everyone else. I doubt it's Maxbounty. I'd definitely think about testing something different.

Can you please share more info for us to help?
    How are you targeting?
How many different offers have you tried?
    Landing page?
    What niche?
    What technique are you using?
    How are you tracking?

Have you tried split testing the landing page? Or are you sending the traffic direct? If you are direct linking, how can you be sure that the traffic you send to is from an ALLOWED country? Offer wont convert if the country is not allowed.

Clicks as in clicks from a landing page to the offer or are you direct linking the offer through LeadImpact.

My best guess is you are simply direct linking and getting views to the offer.

The problem with that is that LeadImpacts pop ups are only around 700 x 500 pixels total, which means 99% of most affiliate offers are too large to actually show much of anything of importance in that.

To exploit PPV traffic to its fullest, you absolutely need your own landing pages. 700 views is really nothing, especially if it is just direct linked. I'm guessing that's around $15 - $20 in traffic, but so far its taught you a good lesson - don't direct link.

Yes, I agree this is great advice and likely the error being made.

Without a good landing page you are really going to struggle competing with PPV, since the landing page work as your ad in a scenes getting the user's attention.

If your traffic is NOT targeted and written to your specific opportunity to match the opportunity you are promoting, you will not have good results. You have to spend lots of money to test what works & doesn't work and by trial and error you will find what works for you. Advertising and getting traffic is something you don't learn, it is something you do! So if you don't have alot of money to do this consistently it will always be frustrating and costly.
