Need help with WebHosting

AD NETWORKS

Recently I purchased the Hatchling Plan from Hostgator. Yesterday I installed Prosper202 and got my tracking url.
My question to you is this: Do you think it's a good idea to track my campaigns on this server? Or should I purchase VPS/Dedicated server?

I of course direct linking. I'm not using LPs so it's for tracking purposes only.

You didn't clearly state what kind of traffic you are driving through, but for testing with low volume you can probably still use shared hosting. Doing only redirecting you might be able to take slightly more traffic as there are no images to load, but you'll also need to consider how long it takes to connect to your web page.

For anyone willing to drive some serious traffic, definitely go for a VPS, and consider using landing pages as well. Very few offers have a good enough landing page to convert on their own.

Typically I believe most will recommend a vps, it's normally not that much more but could save you headaches down the road. What traffic sources are you interested in?

I use POF traffic. I don't expect too much traffic because I'm still testing.
Can I still test with my server?

The best option is to use vps , you can get a good discount deal at my blog from beyond host the recommended hosting due to their fast redirects . Get 50% off for 6 months On Beyond Hosting ...

Hostgator is a terrible host that throttles, severely limits resources (ie, what you can use it for), and lately there have been reports of them outright deleting files (see WHT).

So no, I'd get a better host.

The specific program needs a VPS or dedicated server. It's a resource hog.

How much traffic do you have coming to your campaign? I think you will know and can afford a vps server when it's time.

A VPS always a much better solution, check out LiquidWeb's Storm SSD VPSs or BeyondHosting's VPS... they are much much better anything Hostgator.
