Question: How many clicks should you send over before quitting the campaign?

In media buying, when you're using creatives to direct link and send people to the product page...

How many clicks should you send over with no conversion before dropping the product/offer of that campaign?

its hard to tell as there is a lot of factors..

I wouldnt spend more than the payout off the offer though for obvious reasons and carry on if you are not seeing conversions

There are a lot of factors for this. The key is testing. For example, you can waste a lot of money on wrong targeting and as a result, you might think that there is a problem with the product.

I've read that three times the payout is a good amount to use.

I go based off of amount spend instead of clicks, if you spend 1-1.5 the amount of the offer without a conversion then it's time to change things up IMO

And changing things up doesn't mean you have to drop the campaign/offer....

One of the biggest walls I come up against when helping people and explaining my methods to them is this exact question!

I always say to them that with any business you should expect to make a loss initially - why would this be any different just because were working online?!?

We need to change the mentality of spending on KWs from "OMG, I have spent x amount and not received any conversions"

    to

"Right, I have spent x amounts on x keywords and haven't made any conversions. At least now I know that instead of wasting that money, I have invested it into moving closer to the converting KWs"

I know it sounds like hocum, yet your mental state makes a massive difference in IM. After all when you are working for yourself from home you need a strong mental state to keep yourself on course and keep plodding along with your work without a boss breathing down your neck.

When you have finally drilled it down to the KWs that do convert, you then re-invest your profits monthly into these KWs to increase exposure, increase clicks and increase profits.

You need to treat everything you do online the same way you would a brick and mortar business then you will leave yourself no other option than to succeed

    Anything else just ask.....
