Is Your Facebook FanPage Linked To Your Personal Facebook Account?

I have a cat lovers facebook fanpage and when I post messages on my fanpage it simply just shows my group name. But then I can switch to my personal facebook account within the same login name.

I guess my question is if my friends on my personal facebook account can see my fanpage and also can my fans see my personal facebook account? It seems the 2 are not linked together but how can I know? Anyone know the answer? Thanks

Your friends can't see what you post on your fanpage (unless they're into cats and have liked your page)...or unless you make the mistake of posting something on your fanpage while "using facebook as" your personal account.

Your fans can't see your personal account info (admin info) unless you make that info public, but by default it is not public.

I forget how to publicly claim a page, but there is a way. There was a thread on WF where someone explained how to do it, but unless you do that, you have nothing to worry about.

Unless facebook changes their fan page policy....

No one can see your personal account. It doesn't matter if they are linked or not .
If you only will right in description that admin is blablabla then they can look at your profile.

I am not sure, I'd recommend using a separate Facebook account when creating future Fanpages. That is what I do.

If you are really concerned you can create a new non-personal Facebook account and transfer the Fanpage admin rights to it, and use it for comments and posts going forward.

    Good Luck!

It's my understanding that it is against Facebook TOS to have more than one account. So, you take a risk with this option too.

At the moment your personal profile and your fan page are separate and your fans won't see your personal stuff and your friends won't see your fan page. If you want your friends to see your fan page you will need to share and like your page/posts as yourself. But you never know with Facebook they may change how this works.

They can't see your personal account.

You can create a new one if you wanted but if you're running legit pages it's not a concern really. If FB doesn't like your page it doesn't matter if it's a fake account or real account it's going to be toasted.
