Pay Per Call - How do you promote?

Hey Warriors,
My affiliate manager has been pushing me to get on board with their Pay Per Call offers, but I am hesitant.

Is anyone making money? If so (without revealing your EXACT methods) how are you promoting them?

I was thinking Mobile Ads would be the best. Something with a one-click call.

I know a few people that are banking hard promoting pay per call offers and believe it or not they're all running search campaigns with google. Make sure you have call tracking set up, if you have a background in ppc/keyword marketing it probably won't take much trial and error before you get the hang of it.

this i remember i had the mobile money bandit course i never tried it because i hate google really the best quality traffic but so many dam rules but anyway he used mobile google search i think for the majority of his traffic instead of just sending them straight to the call when they click the ad i think he said it was better to send them to a path landing page to presell them you will need at least dedicated hosting and a good tracking system i think i will try ppc one day when i build enough capital seems like fun!

really its just Cost Per Lead but instead of a user filling out a form or download or whatever they are given a number to call for a busniess (think local plumber) the person must stay on the phone for a pre determined time for it to count as a conversion sometimes theres other actions they must complete to check offer description

the only bad thing about these offers from what i hear is that they tend to get scrubbed alot due to alot of people sending low quality traffic alot of the offers are for local businesses so you must target the right city/state or whatever for it to work but if you use search you should have no problems

Yea I watched the mobile money bandit videos too, they were helpful but the guy barely talked about tracking and optimization, which is the most important part. If the pay per call offers you're running uses the ring revenue platform then make you learn to use the ringpool feature and subid tracking.

Google isn't the easiest traffic source to use but for pay per call the mobile search campaigns work great, you gotta learn it if you want to make the $$$. You can get mobile tap to call landing pages made for $5 on fiverr, get 2-3 made and split test them all.

Search and mobile definitely seem to have the most success when it comes to running pay-per-call offers. MaxBounty has a blog post up that may provide you with some additional information on running pay-per-call that you can check out here.

100% agree, that's the tracking software I use to track all my mobile campaigns, works great for desktop too. It seems pricey but that's a small investment if you think about how much successful marketers make per month.

Would iMobiTrax work for pay per call though? I've looked at it. Maybe Ruck or Ryan can chime in.

it's very tough to track pay per call because you're not using IP addresses. google adwords has a feature where you can see your call details such as area code, duration, start and end time, but it is not real time (maybe a week delay).

i was able to track with prosper using a landing page on one of my pay per call campaigns, but it wasn't profitable. i had more success with the number added onto my ad in adwords. the user would click on the ad and it would call the number directly.

It's quite easy to track pay per call campaigns, just make your pay per call offers are being run through the ring revenue platform(Commission Junction is just one of the many using them).

There tracking tools show calls and conversions in real time. You just have to use the SubID and ringpool feature, use the google token to track which keywords are converting.
