Help with LI PPV...arrrgh!!!!

Hi guys,

Would really appreciate some tips with my LI PPV campaign.

Heres what I have done so far:

My niche has over 2 million searches per month according to google keyword planner.

I pulled all of those keywords and put them into Scrapebox and harvested just over 1000 urls, which I have used as my keywords in my LeadImpact campaign (urls, not the google keywords)

So feeling pretty confident of getting some great traffic, all I'm getting is about 60 impressions per day!

I'm ranked 1 for all of my urls so I just understand where Ive gone wrong.

Its my first PPV campaign so I guess I have a lot to learn.

Any suggestions as to where Ive gone wrong/what to do to improve?

My landing page CTR is 21% from what little traffic Ive had so far so Im happy with this aspect of the campaign.

Kind regards,

Chris Farquah

what country are you targeting? Have you tried activating keywords in addition to your URLs?

How long has it been running, has all been approved? etc.
Also check to ensure you have them in the proper format - dont need the 'http'

Hi dude, its been running just a couple of days. All url are correct, no http://www. I trimmed them all correctly.

All urls were approved a couple of days ago.

I just dont understand why the traffic isnt coming in.

well its not about numbers its about traffic volume your targeted urls get , i usually pick up top urls from alexa and google search + google ad words for my keywords , Out of 10 urls only 1 is the url with goof traffic volume .. Remember PPV is different from search traffic and only targets those who have installed ppv networks adware Also what country are you targeting ?

          Thanks, I'm targeting USA traffic.

Maybe when I used Scrapebox to harvest the urls I did something wrong. When I harvested the urls, I left the harvester field blank.

Should I have done this in a different way?

Congratulations on the 20% CTR, that's very impressive. As far as traffic goes, I have found that often times it is a hit or miss when it comes to volume. Like you I have had a few campaigns that i thought would get a boatload of traffic, but ended up with virtually no impressions.

The US and Germany get the most traffic from LeadImpact, so your country is not the problem. There are certain circumstances that raising your minimum bid will generate more traffic even if LeadImpact shows you in #1 position. I would suggest raising your bid to .021 just to see if this increases volume. If it makes no difference after a day or 2 than go back to .015.

As mentioned above, Alexa will give you a better indication, if a website will generates high volume over google keyword tool. I use both Alexa and the Keyword tool when finding URLs myself.

    Hi,

Targeting USA traffic, bid $0.015, which is ranking at number 1 for all urls.

Do you think I need to increase my bid.....? Does that push LI into serving more impressions?

increasing big will not do anything if you're number 1. give it time..it's a saturday.

It sounds like you are bidding on urls that do not get much traffic?
Perhaps start looking at quantcast to see how much traffic your urls get.

That is a great piece of advice right here.

I usually don't worry about scrapping up a massive list of URL until I get the campaign converting. (Just to many URLs to test at once.) I get 10 of top URL from Google and Alexa, and take sometime tweaking to trying to find the volume in the niche.

Not every niche will be loaded with volume on PPV, you have to remember LeadImpact is no where near the size of Adwords. So you have to do spend sometime searching to find some big URLs. Alexa is a perfect place for this.

You even use browser plugins in like the Mozbar to sort your Google search results by Alexa rank. Try it out!
