Paid traffic strategy for testing an offer?

Does anyone have a specific financial/traffic strategy for testing an offer to see if it's worth pursuing?

Any low entry but scalable PPC/media buy etc networks? I'm in the forex niche so looking to avoid paying $100+ just to test an offer which is the cheapest I can find at the moment. PPC is quite dear in this niche as well.

Thanks!

It is going to fairly challenging to test any CPA offer (especially Forex) with a budget under $100. I would say pretty much impossible. You simple won't be able to get enough testing data to draw any real conclusions.

Also you first $500 you spend on any new Ad Network is just for learning the network typically.

If you can't invest over $100, I would suggest start with free traffic or saving up until you have a bigger budget.

Forex is an extremely competitive niche, I honestly don't think $100 would come close to properly testing in that niche.

Generally for ppc I try to test at least 3 ads and 50 keywords to start. I'll typically pay what the offer pays per keyword, then if that keyword has not produced any conversions then I'll pause it.

Gotta agree with what everyone else is saying, if you want to jump into the super competitive forex niche you better be armed with deep pockets for testing and a good amount of paid traffic experience.

I would look into other niches that you can spend less and get much more data for your budget. Still though $100 isn't much of a testing budget for most offers, might be a bit difficult to optimize.

      Thanks for the replies all.

I'm doing some digging for smaller sites that offer media buys and cheaper PPC networks.

I do actually have a lot more than $100 at my disposal so the original question was quite hypothetical as I am approaching this cautiously and don't want to jump straight into spending a lot straight off the bat.

Forex and trading is my niche as I am a trader and want to build a solid business and brand.

I'll keep looking for 'shoestring traffic' resources. Small site media buys are looking more and more interesting.

You could try using Youtube to generate some free traffic why you are setting up your funnel.

Are you making your own product or promoting someone else's?

I've got my own low ticket product I want to build a buyer list with then do CPA on the back end. I'll have a look at Youtube, tried some facebook ads but they are disapproving ads that go to my squeeze page. Don't mention adwords (banned...).

I got a VA to search for sites that offer advertising - specifically smaller/lower traffic ones - she's come back with some great results so far.

If you want to make a proper testing, you will have to spend some money. It takes money to build strong PPC campaigns which will be profitable in the long run.
