Is facebook a good source along with long term income source?

I have had seen couple of good "WSO" on Facebook CPA marketing. I know that it has a great traffic, as it's one of the most visited sites in the world and we can have laser targeted users.

My main question is, Is it for a long term? Does it works like other traffic networks like 7serach, Traffic Vance, Lead Impact?

I mean how long can we monetize traffic from facebook? Can somebody gives me tips on facebook CPA marketing.

How many landing page should i test for one offer?
How many Ad Images should i use to test?
How much budget should i set for each of the Ad Copy?

I mean Big Guys in media buying, who spend thousands every day to make 200% plus. They use Ad Networks. My point is .. Is it possible on Facebook? Make Millions a year?

Let's say, my mind set is to spend thousand $$$ to test, find the wining campaign and then spend $1000 a day in order to make $1000 in return (ROI).

Note: I am only talking about CPA offers. NOT teespring or other physical or info products.

I hope i made myself clear. If i didn't ask me, and sorry for bad English, i couldn't explain my self properly

P:S; I am not a newbie ... but i want to scale my business super high.

    To make millions a year on facebook? Maybe possible, for sure you can make 100k per year with the right offer. The secret on facebook is to rotate the ad images all the time, because the CTR tends to drop after a few day even for your best pic.

    Facebook is pretty much like any other advertising network, they just display their ads a bit differently and can more closely target users. The number of landing pages and banners you test shouldn't really differ from any other ad networks as it's pretty much the same concept. It's always a good idea to test as many landing pages and banners as possible to ensure your getting the best bang for your buck. Even after you have found the best combinations of landing pages and banners though, you should continue testing new banners and landing pages periodically going forward. This leaves open the possibility of finding a better combination which will lead to even better ROIs and will keep your ads fresh which means a consistently high CTR.

    To answer your questions on how much money you can make from facebook and how long you can be making money - it all depends on how large your target audience is, the larger this is, the longer you should be able to keep your campaign successful and make more money.

    As for the other 3 questions, it's all about testing..

    I'm not sure if you can call my situation "long term", but I've been going strong on Facebook for 2.5 years. I'd say I spend low-mid 5 figure per month on Facebook, sometimes much less depending on what camps I have running

    Defiantly Facebook will be long term source for CPA advertisement.
    You need to test a lot for ad formats, images and offers. You will get knowledge by experience only.

    I wouldn't say long-term because you never know what will happen in FB's future but it's definitely a great revenue stream.

    Well It's not predictable when it comes to facebook. You can scale for the time being or as long as offer is available .. how far can we go with an offer?

    And i also know that with one offer or one fan page or landing page we can't cross $15,000 plus month.

    I don't know about a month, but I have hit that in 1 week on Facebook.

    Not to brag, just to open your mind.

    In terms of long term, Facebook looks to be one of the of the longest term traffic sources online, other than Adwords. Which one out of these are the most likely to still here in 5 years:

    7Search, LeadImpact, Facebook, TrafficVance, POF

    And that isn't to put down any of those companies, but Facebook is a big monster.

    Now, am I suggesting building your whole business around Facebook no.
