What is a better way to get subscribers from a PPV pop window?

Have the pop window ask for the email, or click off the pop window to a landing page asking for the email?

    The best way to find out is test. For me in most cases I have better results by having an input for the email address on the initial pop landing page.

      CHRISBA this is a question for you related to this:

      I know that this is an "in thread" question, but nonetheless I wanted to get some advice from you man on this considering I have a similar question related to this:

      Do you see more converts from the follow up emails you send promoting your lead or do see mainly just conversions from people signing up for the offer from the landing page after your email submit?

      Question being, I've just started building a list (as it's worked better than a click thru page for me) and have had some conversions from the offer page after my landing page but not really any conversions from the emails i'm sending out.

    Test both methods. Analyze the results, then go from there.

    Use a pop-up with a simple poll, that leads to a sign up form.

    In the long run, you'll make more money from those emails. The beauty of a list is that you can keep trying over and over, as long as you approach it the right way and not annoy/piss of your list.

    It might be because you just have, no offense, bad copy. Just like for ads and landing pages, you gotta write a copy that will convert for that specific demographic.

    Once you figure out what works for your demographic, it's just a matter of switching up the angle/offer and recycling the same email campaign every so-often. It becomes clockwork. I have a couple list and fanpages that has been making me consistent money since 2010, and I literally just recycle the same campaigns over and over. (I do hire someone to do weekly informational posts though)
