By doing this, it will cause all experienced marketers to have to possibly raise their bids to stay in the same position when dealing with uneducated marketers.
Here are a few things I traditionally do:
1. Target my PPC by regions
2. By Countries
3. By Zipcodes
This way I eliminate other marketers who don't know what they are doing, and dominate the specific area that I am getting most of my traffic from.
This really does work. Go to google and type any keyword and you will notice under some ads it says the state name. Meaning that ad is only targeting that specific state.
