Lead Generation with pay per call?

I've heard of people doing this, but I am interested in trying my hand at this because I have a decent grasp at pay per call. I have a friend with a call center who will give me a pretty good monthly rate. Can someone give me some basics on lead generation in general? Right now I do lead gen for networks, but is it possible to gather my own leads and then sell them to companies?

  • Why bother when you can just market the Pay Per Call offers just like any other CPA campaign? MaxBounty has a number of call offers. Instead of presenting surfers with a link to click on, you give them a custom number to call. If you're interested, ask your affiliate manager and they can set you up with some numbers to promote.
  • I'm already running pay per call campaigns. I think the payout would be greater if I just sold the leads to a company. I can gather leads for insurance, dentists, etc. and sell them for a higher pay out than what the network is providing.

    • Not to mention that conversions will increase if you sell directly to companies, due to lack of the hard terms that affiliate networks have for offers.

    I just wanted some insight into this area of pay per call. I've heard that lead generation on your own is more profitable. Anyway, I'll just continue researching and hopefully I'll find some info. I just thought there might be some people that are doing lead generation could give me some insight.

    • That happens a lot Nowadays, including number in ads text in disallowed. However, it can still be done using Call Extension.
