Adfly + ClickBank = Big Bucks?

Hello everyone

This is my first post, and I've been doing a lot of researching over this past weekend. I've seen hours of youtube videos, and have joined a few sites, but I'm still a bit confused on this.

I have this concept in my mind, but I want to know if it's possible to do this:

1. Choose a product from Clickbank that you want to promote. ($0)
2. Go to Themeforest to get a Landing Page template ($5-$10)
3. Put the Clickbank product in the landing page and make it look real nice.
4. Go to Adfly to advertise your product. ($1 per 1,000 views).

Would something like that be possible?

So when Adfly is doing it's stuff and your Clickbank product is being used in an Interstitial advertisement, a person that clicks on the add goes to the landing page, and if the landing page promotes the product well enough, the person buys it, and you get paid from Clickbank.

Has anyone done anything like this? If not, is this a good way of starting in Internet marketing?

I'm thinking of investing $20 a week for 20,000 views and if 1% clicks the ad, and from that 200 1% buys it (2 customers), and hope to double, maybe triple my initial investment.

Why don't you just try it? Nobody can answer this without real data.

That said, the traffic from adfly sucks. I bought 1,000 views once and sent them to a really good squeeze page. Had 0 opt-in.

    Never again.

Maybe you didn't buy enough views? I saw a youtube video where a person bought $600 worth of views at $0.80 per 1,000 views, I think he had about 750,000 views. From that, he got about 3,700 conversions. Which if you do the math, he got a name/email address for 16 cents a piece, for wanting to lose weight.

But 750,000 views and only 3,700 conversions, thats a .4% success rate.

If I do 20,000 views, I'll be lucky to get 80 conversions or sales. If the commission is $20-$50 a piece, that's not so bad, right?

But you can't compare free e-mail signups with sales. Getting someone to submit their junk e-mail adress is easy, but not as easy to get them to use their creditcard and buy.

        My 2 cents

True, I mean, you're marketing it worldwide, so a person in malaysia could be seeing your ad. But a sale is still a sale, right?

Would it be okay if I post the youtube video that I saw that showed me this? I spent an hour watching it, and after hearing most of your guys opinions, it just sucks that I wasted my time with it. :/

Agreed. I've tried that and failed. Before I discovered the useless traffic from Adfly, which nothing else than just a bunch of freebie seekers as you've pointed out.

I think that Adfly should be used only to lift up visitors numbers, or to get involved into PPI (Pay per install) business, which is a little hardcore

Traffic is worthless if it's not targeted to your niche. You don't know if the people viewing the ad are interested in bowling balls or adjustable dumbbells.

Verdict: It COULD work, but it's HIGHLY unlikely.

If only it was so easy.
Of course, you can find offers that convert with adfly, but knowing that adfly traffic is completely untargeted, you will need to test a lot of offers and spend more way than $20 on testing alone.

Honestly, I wouldn't bother with that. Save your $20 on an Autoresponder service.
Post more on forums and collect some leads. You will have a better chance to make money.

Love your enthusiasm but you're dreaming!

Adfly is very poor traffic and works well for only certain type of promotions.

In the real world it will usually cost you more than $20 in paid advertising to acquire the first sale.

You will probably lose money on that first sale and will need a sales funnel set up to make an eventual profit.

My advice would be to be realistic with your expectations & to view this exercise as if you were setting up a real offline business.

You only get out what you put in. If all you can afford is $20 in paid advertising a week, then expect to make $20 back [if you're very lucky!].

Us career marketers aim to make back $1.20 for every $1 we spend, on the initial sale that is. However, often we make a loss on the front end product.

It is with our upsells, cross sells and future promotions where we make our profits.

If you need any specific advice and have the maturity to treat this as a real business, then feel free to private message me.

    Good luck

This way you will not make much profit. May be you will loose some money and will decide to quit clickbank. I have made $2000 in clickbank but it took 1 year for me to earn this much.

Clickbank is an excellent way to earn lots of money but you need targeted visitors.

According to me there are only two ways to earn lots of money in clickbank.
    1) Buy a domain with the product name and write a review about it
    2) Make your list of thousands of targeted customer and make ample money

I still suggest you Ad.fly is not the right place for Clickbank

    All the best

Ad.fly or any other site selling you views will simply not work. 1000 views by people not interested in the offer will simply click out of the offer. You might want to try targeted views via ppc or ppv.

HeyItsMoses Please don't be deterred from these comments.

If you have the determination you will find a way of making it work. What you have is a solid game plan: Find an Offer > Set Up a Page to Advertise Offer > Drive Traffic to Offer.

Driving Traffic is always the most difficult part. I suggest that you do a little more research, read some threads on WF and have a look on Google/YouTube. There is no shortage of material on Traffic Generation. Find something that interests you and study, study, study... BECOME AN EXPERT IN 1 MARKETING METHOD (This is the key)

    Dont give up!!

I don't mean to be negative here, but this is not going to work. Save your money. AdFly traffic is awful. I bought a course about 2 years ago that showed you how to use AdFly traffic to build a list. I did a test and ended up spending about $200 to get roughly 800 subscribers. I was using a very simple squeeze page and giving away a free report which showed you ten ways to make your first earnings online.

Now, you might think 800 subscribers for $200 is great, and with good, targeted traffic from Facebook or Google it would probably be awesome. However, when I sent out my first broadcast to those 800 subscribers from AdFly, I got 18 opens and 5 clicks. That's the reality of it. It's just garbage traffic.

The difference is if I spend $200 on Facebook ads, I will usually get around 200 leads. So I'm paying $1 per lead but these are responsive leads that are interested in what I have to offer. That's not the case on AdFly. I can't really tell you the reasons why. I just know that the traffic I got was poor.

I'm not trying to shoot down anybody's hopes here. If you can make AdFly work then more power to you. I just wanted to share my experiences.

I would like to recommend you, don't waste your money in Landing Page template as well as in adfly traffic, simply search for CPA HTML landing page in google and you will found out many HTML templates, select the landing page as per your requirement and once web site ready promote the offers on Facebook ads or yahoo advertising as they both are reliable

Lol adf ly is a waste of time. If you want to truly make money with clickbank you need to build a website around the product or service and get targeted traffic to it. My job site promotes every employment product on clickbank and it made over 50 grand last year. It's very important to build your email list NEVER send traffic directly to an offer it's a waste. If your paying for traffic you want to capture as many leads as you can.

Yes, I think having a site dedicated to a theme -- in your case, employment -- and subtly implement clickbank products in with the reviews and advice is the way to go.

That way you have a legitimate looking site with pathways for people to buy stuff.

For whatever reason, a banner with that goes directly to the clickbank product just doesn't seem to work. it's very sad. i don't know why, but i guess people need their hands held and they need to go through a few different pages to finally get to the product to feel ok about it.

I'm testing this adfly thing with $10 and 25k worldwide views and 5k US views, and using two of the TOP converting clickbank products.

I'll probably only get a handful of clicks. One conversion would at least pay for it, but that's just gambling at that point.

I love your enthusiasm ! But facts are facts. 20,000 impressions is not allot. And the more your offer goes for the HARDER it is to convert. You also need to do very specific research to make sure your offer is matching your target demographic. You may do better with PPC on another network. Easier to see results and where they came from. And finally, you need to be able to optimize in order to be profitable and that requires INFO. Info is KING !

Don't stop thinking or trying new ideas ........... its a long race !

adfly or similar sites like linkbucks will get you lots of views for very cheap. But if you are trying to sell something, it does not worth. People that search for free things generally views their ads. For clickbank products it won't work well. But if you have some free offers than it can work well. Like trying to build your downline in an affiliate scheme. It's free to opt in and those people would register for free. You can have them in your downline and the conversion rate you mentioned .4 can be in your downline where people will start working for you. The best use of it would be if you are offering something free rather than offering something paid.

Nothing is guaranteed, even with paid traffic.

It's a good idea but similar to all the common practices out there.

It's just like building a landing page and buying solo ads.

But you could always try but make sure you set a budget.

On the surface it sounds like a great opportunity but adfly at least for me has not been a great source for traffic. And the traffic received has not converted well. Obviously others on here have done differently.

I would suggest you keep up with the idea but find a different traffic source and test it that way or only throw a little bit of money into adfly and run a small test.

You might get some sales but I have a better idea. Listen to this. Make a review video on youtube. Promote it on adf.ly.com then buy a hundred dollars worth, which is a 100,000 clicks, then check this out if your sight on you tube is keyword rich plus maybe your clickbank product you will move up in the ranks because of the 100,000 clicks and make money off of your youtube video. Its a win win situation. Do you get it. You just use adfly for the clicks so you get ranked higher on youtube. Cool right.

you can't advertise youtube on adfly. I wont allow it because of the iframe. But what I did was do a review video of a clickbank product, And I optimize the youtube page for seo. Then I embed the video on blogger with a call to action(just in case you're lucky enough to find a buyer on adfly. I also change the code to autoplay the video on the blog, then I advertise the blog on adfly to increase views. then with onsite seo and backlinking I drive organic traffic to my youtube channel while spending a view dollars here and there to increase the views on the video. I also use youlikehits to increase likes. I use adfly and youlikehits to jumpstart my campaign, then I rely on organic traffic to make actual sales.

I'm thinking of investing $20 a week for 20,000 views and if 1% clicks the ad, and from that 200 1% buys it (2 customers), and hope to double, maybe triple my initial investment.
Nothing impossible, i bellieve you can

I tried Adfly once. The lesson I learned is , never try adfly again ! You better learn and try some free traffic strategies. Adfly traffic is not gonna let you make good money. Yes, there are people who have made money buying adfly adfly traffic. But as it is extremely low quality traffic you cannot make any prediction. And if someone invests 600$ on adfly, chances are he is not gonna make profit. However, I spoke from my personal experience, do not count on it if you think other way. But, remember testing 5/10/15 bucks ads on Adfly and putting 600 bucks are whole different stories. Give it a shot if you think buying untargeted ads might make money if you get lucky.

Why don't we put ourselves in a customer's position ? When is the last time you clicked on some adfly ads ? I don't think I ever did , cause in 99% time what Adfly was showing was none of my business.

From Adfly you will not get your potential customer because most of the people use adfly in free download site, so the traffic from adfly is cheap and they don't have any intention to buy products, actually they find for free products (softwares, movies, videos etc). So don't use adfly and don't waste your time & money.

Adfly traffic have very high bounce rate and is highly untargeted as well. It's hard to sell anything with that type of traffic. Maybe it can work with free CPA offers, but i dont think it will work for paid offer.....

Concentrate your efforts on Facebook, PPC and PPV and Soloads. At least, you're certain of sales if you target the right demographics

Sure, it could work considering the bounce rate, but I think other platforms are better. Social media works as well, and here your clickers aren't just seeing for something they can get for free. I think it's easier to sell through Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, and even Pinterest.
