Newbie question about incent offers

Sorry if this is super basic but I'm having trouble searching for the answer. Using incent traffic, how do you know that a customer filled out an offer through your link? I've had multiple customers send me screenshot proof that they completed an offer through my link but less than that are being paid to me in my affiliate account. Dynamic parameters or Sub-IDs or something?? I cannot find any details on how to use this.

Adperio is the specific network I'm working with right now. Not getting much help from them about this though.

You can track them in your cpa network panel. It will automatically be recorded as a lead if the offer is properly done.

*By less than that meaning your getting a fraction of what's the promised payout per lead on a completed offer*?

If so that's the case then your network is shaving your earnings.

I would suggest switching out to a network if your going promoting for incent offers.

And oh in regards to your network check out their feedback first before applying to them sub company of cpa lead which does shave earnings just be careful.

Have you set up any form of tracking on your offers outside of what Adperio offers you? Prosper202? CPV Lab? iMobiTrax? If not, it can be tough to verify in the manner in which you've done. Typically when dealing with CPA offers, you don't "know" the person who actually fills out the offer so it is again, tough to verify.

The first thing that comes to mind: Lead Skimming. Basically it refers to CPA networks "shaving" your leads down for whatever reason. Because (like I mentioned in most cases earlier), an affiliate has no way to actually verify conversations beyond their own tracking solution, CPA networks can get away with "shaving" leads because you can't really question it.

A good example just came to mind: imagine if you will you ordered something illegal off the internet. You learn a few weeks later that you've been scammed because nothing showed up at your door. What do you do? Nothing. Not like you're going to go report the scammer exposing your illegal activity.

Having said all of this, I could be 100% wrong. I'd just recommend that you set up Prosper202 as a minimum for actual tracking (if you haven't already).

As a final note, sometimes leads take awhile to "clear". On that topic, your CPA could have deemed some of your leads as invalid and has chosen not to pay you for them. Lots of possible scenarios.

I know my message is quite jumbled, but I hope it helped.

Thanks, I'll consider those things! This is the first time we're getting into incent traffic. It's not really used at all in our specific niche so it's been pretty well received. Just trying to figure out how to actually know who is filing out the offers so I can get them their incentive.

        Make postbacks id's for tracking.

give an individual different set of id's to track them and associate them with their ip.

So you can track which email : ip : post id.

here's an example on a incent network that i am apart off.

Thanks, I will talk to the network about how to do that with them then! Appreciate it!

No I don't mean they are shaving leads, I just mean that I have say 5 people claim they filled out an offer using my link (sent me screenshot) but only 3 leads show up in the network reporting. How would you know if those other 2 people lied about it and used someone else's link to sign-up for an offer? It's either that or the network isn't tracking correctly.

Leads can get scrubbed and shaved with incent. It is just nature of the offers, I would suggest only using offers that pay over $4.
