I had a time where I started hitting $1k days (rev) on a certain offer, only to be blacklisted from the offer a couple of days later for "bad quality leads". I wasn't trying to screw them over, I didn't think I was doing anything wrong.
So I decided to open a line of communication between the advertiser and I through the network.
I basically said something like "Hey, I really like your product and would love to get back to promoting it. I know my lead quality wasn't up to par with your expectations, but I'm willing to work with you on that."
They took me off the blacklist and set a cap of 100 leads per day until they liked my lead quality.
The results? I ended up getting back to 4 figure days and also got a pay bump to boot.
I guess the moral of the story is to open a line of communication between yourself and your advertiser when you start doing any decent volume. Let them know your intentions are good and hopefully they will return the favor and not scrub the shit out of you.
A lot of you guys are too paranoid to show your landing pages. Afraid that you might lose your piece of the pie if someone knows too much. As a product owner myself with my own affiliates, I'm here to say that we are not here to steal your landing pages. It's your job to find pockets of traffic that we cannot find or do not have the time/resources to do so. The bigger piece of pie that you get, the bigger ours become. If your landing page ever starts doing big volume, then believe me when I say that it's not us you have to worry about stealing your landing pages.
