I am not experienced marketer but I think SEO is the best free traffic strategy ever. But if you want fast results then go for forum marketing and youtube marketing(Both work for me well)

I do a lot with SEO and social traffic (primarily Facebook Pages). For my affiliate campaigns I see the most consistent traffic from my paid campaigns, but you can still make a lot of money with SEO and social traffic if you do it right. It just times time, patience, and testing

Couldn't agree more. I use Twitter and Tumblr along with my Facebook Pages. Yesterday I did a post on one of my Facebook Pages with a link to an affiliate offer and it performed okay:

Nothing to brag about, but it also didn't cost me a penny

Plus, it looks like I may have gotten some new Likes on my Page from it too:

Problem with Facebook pages is that Facebook its cutting down your reach for fan pages, they want you to pay advertising to spread your updates, i have 20k fans and when i post on my wall i get like 15 or 20 like compared to the 500 - 700 i just to had on the samepage same amount of fans

need to have a really big fan page to make some money with CPA offers

I don't build fan pages but what you're saying makes sense, I friends who get 100 of likes on their post and they only have 9 friends as compared to 20k. In addition I think a lot of people simply "like" post of facebook just for the sake of clicking "like" and aren't actually interested in the page.

Facebook is cutting down reach, but what it appears to me that they're doing is simply "trimming off the fat" so to speak. I have very active Pages and it appears that Facebook has simply stopped displaying to the people who liked my Page, but were not engaged with my content. So, most of the people who were engaged with my content prior to the recent changes are still seeing most of the content I post.

There are ways to improve your reach with Pages and in my opinion, Pages are far from dead. You may need to pay a bit to get some engagement from the people who Like your page, but you can reengage with them on a daily basis if you do it right.

Here are my reach stats since the beginning of last month for a Page that currently has just over 294,000 Likes:

I have not run a single ad on that Facebook Page during that timeframe. What day did Facebook change their algorithm?

Abdul - I didn't have a Fanpage as of last week this time and I now have 790 likes in a popular niche. Yes, it did cost a little to get going but my view is long term here. With more refining on my FB ads I should be gaining momentum and growing it faster for cheaper.

I've had luck with Youtube! Only problem is that Youtube will come along and BAN ALL and I mean ALL your accounts at once every now and then... Still it is a very good traffic source if you can cover your tracks... !

imho theres no such thing as free traffic...everything costs something...even if it's not money, it could be something even more worthwhile to you...that's your time.

sometimes (often? always?) its better to spend 100 bucks and save 8 hours of time.

Luke , Do you give the direct affiliate link on facebook page or you just redirect them through own domain redirecting. It it better to use landing page than redirect them to offer page?

I am afraid there is nothing like FREE TRAFFIC it is a myth so be careful.

You will have to either pay by money (pay per click, SEO Rankings or Youtube video rankings) or with your time to spread word and write articles.
