Do older Adwords account get better CPC ?

Hi,

I have someone that said he can get me lower cpc with adwords because he has an "aged company accounts which has long running good stats".

I have a newer adwords account that isn't doing so good. Is what he says true?? Can he get me lower cpc short term?

The main factors affecting your CPC will be your CTR, your quality score, the competition for the keywords, and your bid (naturally).

The age of your account can affect things such as ad approval times and not getting hit quite so quick with the ban hammer if your ads don't meet approval standards.

Yep they do - IF you had a good CTR account history. Remember, CTR (both old and new) is about 60% of the QS game with Google, so older accounts with lots of money spent while having had a good CTR always get a big boost with Google Adwords.
