Well i will be promoting CPA offers with Facebook ads, abd i was wondering how much should i spend on each ad i make for testing each offer?
#ad networks (cpm/cpl, display) #money #put
  • I recommend you to spend some money on spy tools.
  • Basically the industry standard is 1x-2x the offer's payout.
  • The amount you spend on testing is somewhat unimportant if you're modifying your ad daily, getting closer to and finally hitting profit on your buys. Facebook or otherwise.
  • How much for testing is the easy part.

Getting a CPA ad approved will be the tricky one for you.
  • No one can provide you exact amount because test and test is only option available for good return from the investment, therefore try to change the offers , styles for landing page as soon as you see no returns from the investment or pause the adds
  • I typically test each offer for 1-2x the offer's payout than make changes then re-test.

    • Agreed with above,

1-2x the offer payout. Usually x2 offer payout. If no conversion then I tweak things and retest. Wouldn't spend more then $20 all up though, but that's just me!

      Good luck
  • I would typically spend what the offer pays per variation. Variation is different ads, different demographic targeting, etc
  • Everyone has their own system and routine when it comes to testing campaigns and so will you eventually.

The 1x-2x the payout rule for FB campaigns works well for me just remember on FB it's important to test a lot of ads, I usually go for at least 10+.
