Hi,

Recently i started media buying and using bevomedia tracking. But you know, their tracking software is hosted on their server and it is taking some time to load the page, is there any free software which i can track media buying ?

Any help would be appreciated.

Tracking202 is the only functional general all traffic sources free tracker I know. OpenX is open-source, but I'm not sure if it is free to use or what is going on there. Here are other ad servers: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Comparison_of_ad_servers

And I think if you are looking for a free tracker, you probably aren't "media buying" as that usually requires contracts direct with publishers and very large ad spends. (Unless you are just contacting a small site owner, negotiating a low monthly price, and placing a simple banner on there - technically that could be media buying). Media buyers typically have very large 6+ figure monthly budgets and use dedicated (and expensive, but very thourough ad servers)

Display advertising on a self-serve network (like sitescout) is not media buying. That'd just be display advertising.

Tracking202 is your main option for free tracking, otherwise you are can do some interesting things with Sub-Id tracking if you are good with PHP.

Hi Justin,

Yes, i am in Mediabuying only..i started with 10k, but when i looked at paid tracking softwares, their monthly charges are too much. Thats why i am looking for a free one.

And greedy, seems like tracking202 is also a paid one.

You've got 10k and you aren't willing to invest a small part of that that is absolutely ESSENTIAL to your success? Good luck!

Tracking202 is primitive. Anything is better than it. Get a proper ad server if you plan on doing high budget media buys. If you don't you'll not be able to track the data you need to turn those huge budget contracts into something profitable.

For free? I'd say prosper202. You can download 1.7.2 here, but you will not be able to get any upgrades as it has moved to a paying model - Prosper202 Self Hosted Apps

nocturnal - we normally put accounts on "high volume" status after 500k clicks. High volume accounts have their reports load instantly, but we only put bigger accounts on it because of the increase of resources required. Hit me up and I can get you setup on it right now if you'd like! We have people doing millions of clicks a day no problem.
