Newbie problem, about to quit soon...

Hello marketers. Almost 2 months ago i started to learn about CPA and to be honest i did not learn a lot. I was using Traffic BlackBook 2 which is not so newbie friendly.
I have really small budget ( around $500 ) and yet I can't start with the work because many people say different stories and too many different tutorials and systems that work which makes my mind literally blow because of frustration.

Because of the small budget i have i want to start with email/zip submits and im thinking to drive the traffic through PPC. For driving traffic i want to use 7search and my CPA aff is PeerFly.

THE PROBLEM : People are saying me that with email/zip submits i will burn my money because affiliates will shave me. Others say : because of my small budget i don't have any other option.
The question is :
1.Do i really have small budget ?
2.Can someone provide me with something other than Traffic BlackBook ( it is just to hard for me to understand that) it is not newbie friendly.
3.Can i sell products with $500 budget and to get rid of those email/zip submits.

I will be very very very grateful if someone provides me with some learning course about CPA, especially PPC ( but newbie friendly ).
I really want to start taking actions but my mind is blown away from so much informations. I really don't want to quit before taking some action.

    Hi,

    Welcome to the WF.

    I must say $500 is good budget to start with CPA.
    Don't start with Email/Zip submit offers.
    Start with Dating offers with a landing page with POF advertising.
    Don't rely on WSO's, most of them don't work, You just need to find your own way into CPA marketing.

    Here is a simple step follow it and you will get succeed.

    Choose a Dating offer, if you are unsure which one to select, Ask you AM about top converting offers.
    Then, Get a pof dating account, and browse through some pages and see some of the current advertiser's ads and landing page and the offers they are using.
    When you have enough data,
    With your chosen offer, create a landing page if you know how to do it or else hire someone at odesk for $5-$10.
    Then cloak your aff url in the landing page,
    Create a pof advertising campaign by loading $25 in your pof ads account,
    Set your bids high first around $0.60 - $0.80
    Test 10 images at time.
    Aim for 0.1xx CTR for your ads, and don't bother about conversions.
    When you got some clicks see which ads are getting the above CTR or more.

    Now pause the rest and start with high CTR ads and start reducing your bids until you are at good CTR.
    When you are maintaining good CTR, now test with different offers and see which one is making you profitable.

    Test 10 ads -> Aim for Good CTR -> Test different offers -> Get into profits.

    Thats it, Rinse and repeat.

      Can i iframe the whole landing page from the offer i get? Is that against rules ?
      I know iframing certain parts are against the rules but if i iframe the whole page will i get in trouble ?

        Your own pages are always better, but heres an easy tip on how to do it. Open the offers landing page and hit print screen thrn go into paint and copy the image. Do a little cropping and add your txt to highlight importnat info or say something they dont. Pm for more help!

    No, Don't iframe the offer in your landing page, just give some info about the offer in the landing page and link the call to action to the offer url.

    You can try on Bing Ads aswell you can promote CPA with a good Landing page
    try BizzOp offers and Insurance
    you have to spend money to test what working and whatsnot

    Don't go with email/zip submits. Invest on social PPC (Facebook and PoF) promoting dating and gaming offers with nice landing pages.

    If your budget is the problem, try to improve it offline before you get started. $500 isn't a lot, but it's enough to get your foot wet with those traffic sources.

        Email and zip submits have changed over the years, the scrub rates are insane these days. Because of this it's very hard to test and get accurate data. These offers are also monitored very closely for quality and due to the nature of email submits it can sometimes be difficult to drive quality leads to these offers.

    Your budget is quite good, maybe too much for a beginner. I dont evern recommend 7Search, try Social Networks as a traffic generators (Facebook, POF, Pinterest). It is easier and more effective.

    I am also new... and I have applied a few advice for my own campaign..

    So far I am getting good CTR in my LP (40+%)... but no conversions yet in my aff network...

    still testing...

    Your budget is a bit small in my option, but you could still try to make it work.

    I really don't want to quit before taking some action.
    This mind set is really what is going to be your biggest hurdle in CPA Marketing.

    If you don't take action it is better for everyone on this forum, less competition. So no one here cares if you quit or not. People will help a bit to be nice, but at the end of the day it is your job to make it work. There is a lot of competition, and you really have to be hungry and passionate to make it in CPA Marketing... or any industry for that matter.

    So I would stop thinking oh I am about to quit, and start thinking I am going to make this happen no matter what.

    Lastly, yes I and most others on this forum would recommend staying away from zip and email submits if you are new.
