Is it true that my landing pages must be approved by my affiliate manager before using them?

What if my AM approved a landing page and then I make a tweak - do I have to ask him to approve it again?

And finally, what if I don't bother asking him for approval at all? If I use nice and relevant landing pages, it shouldn't be a problem, should it?

    It all depends on the network's TOS.
    In PeerFly, for instance, you must get approval for your LPs and creatives.
    I believe it is the same in most of the networks.

    It depends on the network, but, usually, they just want to get a general idea on what you're using and the way you're approaching people. So, if you make small changes it's not necessary to submit it for approval again.

      Most of the time you won't have to, depends on the network and unless the advertiser is very strict on what you use!

    By getting your landing page approved you're basically getting assurance that there will be no issues down the road where an advertiser is upset about how you were promoting their product and decide not to pay you. I'd rather just spend the minute to send it in than potentially not get paid.

    This will vary network by network and offer by offer, if you're unsure then just give your am a quick call to discuss their (and your) expectations.

    I run lots of dating. I never need to any landing page approved by any affiliate network. Usually, they are able to find landing page by looking at their network referer statistics. But i have seen networks ripping my landers and sending them to other affiliates.

    Now, i blank referer using double meta refresh + SSL on tracking domain. I am doing it for 2 year and still no issue with networks. There are other metrics to estimate quality of traffic, i don't think network relies exclusively on referer data which can spoofed easily.

    But i still try to be as compliant as possible with network and advertiser's guidelines.

    Depends on the network of course.
    I check everything! You can change your landing page... I'll freeze your account. In certain markets, the pages have to follow rules or laws are broken.
    You want to be held responsible?
    ---Just make sure you are on the same page as your AM. If you tell them the truth and build a good relationships, the more they'll let slide.
