Adult Media Buying conversion rate

I have an successful angle in POF, I tweaked that angle further and started with Traffic Junky, my CTR in TJ is good as 0.03, however my conversion rates are very low, after 100 clicks only 2 conversions and only 35 visitors went to offer page from LP. Any suggestions? Is it normal that Adult site visitors tend to be low converting? please suggest

    CR Differs, expect it to be between 2.84%-5% from traffic source to offer. ( with landing page/bridge page ). It looks normal to me. I think you are doing good. You need cheaper traffic to get some ROI.
    35% CTR ( Above Average ) and 2% CR ( Average ) are normal.

    Basically with 35% LP CTR and 2 to 5% CR its hard to make any ROI since we need to bid at least $.25 to get decent volume in TJ. Any one can suggest here?

    From my experience, i saw ROI for adult campaigns only when i spent around $300-$500 a day. Say if i spent around $500, i can get around $650. For me, Adult campaigns only worked with big budgets.

    But i would like to know others answers as well.

    Hey raid, not sure if you tried any of CrakRevenue's landings out, but they do quite well. Most of the landings engage the visitor a bit more than the average LP, leading to higher conversation rates.

    Also, can I ask, what countries are most of your visitors coming from?

    Do you guys who are running dating stuff actually see an increase in your conversions using those rules qualification squeeze pages that everybody seems to run, over direct linking? Or is it more just a means of filtering unengaged clicks off the offer's landing page and plummeting the network EPC?

      Yes

      There's a reason that they're everywhere. You can use them for much more than dating/adult too.

        Guess I'll have to get to work doing more split tests on some squeeze pages then. The couple I tried running haven't perform very well at all. I've got a couple campaigns just about breaking even on direct links right now just adjusting my bids and optimizing my creatives. Would be nice to get them in the plus, and I'm confident that I can get them there with some time and careful data analysis.

      Its all about testing. Some sites work well going direct to homepage...some need a landing page.

    PoF and adult traffic are very different, so your angle may be not as effective with TJ as it is with PoF.

      I understand they are different but still not able to understand what porn site users want, they click,they going to my offer page as well ..but not converting

        Test, test, test.

        One major difference between average affiliates and successful affiliates is how much they are prepared to test and how much money they are prepared to spend doing it.

        If everything looks good to you except the conversion rate, start with the offer. Rotate a few at the same time until there is a clear winner. Then move onto the next piece of the puzzle.
