CPA stand for cost per acquisition/action.

You create an ad online you have to pay for that ad out of your own pocket, you point that ad to a CPA offer, if the offer gets any conversions/sign ups, you get paid by the CPA Network.

That is the general idea.

You get paid for a lead or action taken by the visitor. You provide advertiser with leads not clicks or visitors.
