How to play with 50onRed bidding system?

I'm on 50OR a few weeks now and have the same feeling. But, on the other hand, there's a competition ofcourse on URL's that have lots of traffic. I just raised some of my bids slowly to see the impact on traffic-increase.

About the referrer: 50OR claims their system isnt able to track the URL. Use {domain} to track the domain manually. Works like a charm.

Although I'm pleased in general about 50OR I have a little trouble converting the traffic, or get a decent CTR. Might be my own lack of experience..

Anyone knows what kind of variations can be used in 50onred!?

There are no referrals with 50onRed pops, just the same for every other pop network. The ads aren't on the site. They are generated through a 3rd party adware installed on the computer when they visit a targetted site or keyword.

You can dynamically pass target info through to tracking in your URL with their tracking variables.

To capture data from a view, you may append any of these macros to your Destination URL: {country}, {bid}, {target}, {campaign_id}, {creative_id}, {target_id}, {domain}, and {click_id}. {click_id} must be used when placing a server to server pixel.

@justin i'm using 50onred and Leadimpact only and i dont know about other pops networks. But this is what my cpvlab shows me, you can see the difference between LI and 50onred.
yes, you are right, pops are generated by adwares i know that too. on LI, cpvlab can capture the urls from my targets, that is useful for me to remove many bad targets.

If you’re not getting more traffic when you increase your bids, it usually means you aren’t bidding competitively enough to earn more traffic. I can provide some insight to our matching algorithms and how SmartBids work, which can help you optimize your bids.

With Pops campaigns, the matching target with the highest bid wins the view. However, campaign restrictions like frequency caps and dayparting schedules allow lower bids to get volume, which is where SmartBids come in. Another fun fact: {domain} will also track subdomains if the URL has one, and “www.” is treated as a subdomain (because technically, it actually IS a subdomain).

I notice inconsistent conversions with 50onred.

On TV and LI the conversions are always very consistent. But on 50onred I notice the conversion on certain keywords variate wildly. For example, independent of bid price, on one day I could have 40 conversions on a single keyword then 10 then 8, 6 all the way down. Then I pause the keyword for a few days and resume again and same pattern repeats. The beginning of the pattern always begins with a wild conversion rate then slows.
